- Day 1
Hanoi
You'll arrive in Hanoi and get settled into your hotel, then connect with your tour guides and the other travelers in your group. There's a complimentary welcome dinner lined up featuring Vietnamese dishes, and afterward you'll have time to walk around and check out the bustling streets of Hanoi on your own.

- Day 2
Hanoi
This day focuses on Hanoi's key sights. You'll visit Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum, Ngoc Son Temple, and One Pillar Pagoda as you move through the city. By evening, you'll wrap up with a one-hour traditional Vietnamese massage to relax after all the walking.

Halong Bay
You'll board your privately reserved sleeper boat and head out into Halong Bay, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. From the top deck, you'll have sunset cocktails during happy hour, then enjoy dinner and your first cooking lesson right aboard the boat.

- Day 4
Halong Bay to Tam Coc
Wake up early and grab coffee on the top deck to catch the sunrise, then explore Thien Canh Son Cave. Lunch happens aboard the boat, and later you'll travel to the Tam Coc countryside resort where you can relax by the pool, shoot some pool, or try fishing at the pond.

- Day 5
Tam Coc
You'll climb the 500 steps of Hang Mua, also called Lying Dragon Mountain, for views of the mountains, caves, and rivers below. After coming back down, you'll cycle through the ricefields and then take a traditional sampan boat ride through caves and down the river.

- Day 6
Tam Coc to Phong Nha
Start with a trek through the National Park, then visit the Endangered Primate Rescue Centre to see critically endangered species. Later you'll board an overnight sleeper bus, and by morning you'll be in the laid-back town of Phong Nha.

- Day 7
Phong Nha
Phong Nha is a UNESCO World Heritage Site featuring the oldest karst mountains in Asia, which are over 400 million years old. You can explore caves and waterfalls, or just relax by the hotel pool. Paradise Cave, part of the world's longest cave system, is available as an optional trip if you're interested.

- Day 8
Phong Nha
This is a full day of action and adventure. You'll zipline on Vietnam's longest zipline, wade through a natural mud bath thousands of years old where ancient fossils are visible on the cave walls, kayak through scenic waterways, swim, tackle a water obstacle course, and float down the Chay River.

Phong Nha to Hue
An early morning bus takes you to Hue, Vietnam's ancient capital. On the way, you'll stop at a beach to sunbathe, swim, and take in the views. You'll arrive in Hue for a two-night stay in the historic city center with markets nearby to explore.

- Day 10
Hue
You'll visit UNESCO World Heritage sites including the Imperial City and the Forbidden Purple City, which date back to when Hue served as Vietnam's capital. Later you'll volunteer at a local school helping with English lessons and games, then enjoy a vegan lunch prepared by women from a local nunnery who'll share their stories. The day ends with time at the pool.

Hue to Hoi An
You'll drive across Hai Van Pass, a 19-kilometer coastal route considered one of the best in the world. There's a stop for photos and a swim at a natural spring with overlooked views. From there you'll arrive in Hoi An, known as the City of Lanterns.

- Day 12
Hoi An
Hoi An is an ancient port town and UNESCO World Heritage Site, and this day is yours to explore at your own pace. You can spend time at An Bang Beach with its white sand and warm water, try bamboo raft rides, or just relax by the hotel pool. It's your chance to see what calls to you.

- Day 13
Hoi An
You'll bike to An Bang Beach for group bonding and drinks along the way. The flat, easy ride takes you through Hoi An's city center and rolling ricefields to reach the sea. You can catch some sun, rent a paddleboard, sample local seafood, or spend time by the pool. Custom-made clothing from local tailors at reasonable prices is also available.

- Day 14
Hoi An
You'll cycle through ricefields to an organic farm for a cultural experience working with local farmers. At a farmer's market you'll get lessons on ingredients, then make rice paper from scratch, work in the garden, and learn to prepare four authentic Vietnamese dishes. The day wraps up with a foot massage.

Hoi An to Danang
You'll have a final breakfast with the group and say goodbye to your fellow travelers. Then you'll head to Danang airport or continue with your own plans. Airport drop-off is included and available throughout the day as you finish your Vietnam trip.
