Arrival in Palma de Mallorca
You'll arrive in Palma de Mallorca and head to your beachfront hotel in Ca'n Pastilla. The area has a long stretch of beach and a nice cycle path running along the promenade. Spend the afternoon relaxing on the sand or checking out Palma de Mallorca on your own.

Ca'n Pastilla to Colonia de Sant Jordi
Start cycling southeast from Ca'n Pastilla along the Bahía de Palma cycle path. The route shifts inland through the Mallorcan countryside with narrow lanes, windmills, and almond trees. You'll climb to Santuari de Cura for views across the landscape, pass through Llucmayor and Porreres, then climb again to Santuari de Monti-Sion. Head back toward the coast and finish at the beach resort of Colonia de Sant Jordi near Es Trenc beach. This is an 84 km ride.

Colonia de Sant Jordi to Porto Cristo
Start at Ses Salines where Romans once extracted salt, then check out the lighthouse on the nice coastline nearby. Continue to the village of Santanyí close to Parc Natural de Mondragó, which is known for birdlife and the pretty beach of Cala Mondragó. Head inland from Felanitx and tackle two climbs to Castell de Santueri and Santuari de la Mare de Déu de Sant Salvador. End at Porto Cristo, a charming resort where you can visit Cuevas del Drac caves with an underground concert and boat trip. The full route is 106 km or you can do a shorter 65 km version.

Porto Cristo to Cala Ratjada
Cycle to the resort of Cala Ratjada and take an inland loop through Manacor, home to the Rafael Nadal Academy and Museum Xperience. Head back along the coast to see Cuevas de Artà with its impressive stalactites and stalagmites overlooking the sea. Stop at Canyamel beach and visit the castle of Capdepera. In Cala Ratjada, relax at Cala Agulla or Cala Mesquida beaches, or ride out to Cala Gat and the Capdepera lighthouse with views toward Menorca. Options are 115 km or 82 km.

Cala Ratjada to Port de Pollença
Cycle to Artà, a village with narrow medieval streets, cafés, and a 15th century fortress. Take an extension to Ermita de Betlem monastery with great views across the sea toward Alcúdia and Formentor. Continue through the Bahía de Alcúdia, passing the birdlife at Parc Natural de S'Albufera and the great beach of Playa del Muro. Reach Alcúdia with its medieval walls and Roman ruins of Pollentia, then ride along the bay of Pollença and arrive at your hotel in Port de Pollença. This ride is 130 km or 97 km.

Port de Pollença
Today's a shorter ride out to the Cape of Formentor lighthouse, one of the island's most famous cycling routes with impressive cliffs dropping into the sea. You could do a shorter version to Platja de Formentor beach or ride to the village of Pollença instead. Or take a free day at Port de Pollença with its waterfront promenade lined with pine trees, cafés, and restaurants. The main option is 40 km.

Port de Pollença to Port de Sóller
Cycle through the Sierra de Tramuntana mountains with spectacular views. The first climb takes you to Lluc and its famous monastery. Then comes the well-known descent of Sa Calobra, a one-way drop so you get to experience one of the world's famous climbs back up. You can take a boat from the bottom to Port de Sóller if sea conditions allow (booking beforehand is recommended). The land route goes through the villages of Fornalutx and Biniaraix before reaching Sóller and Port de Sóller. Choose between 88 km or 64 km.

Port de Sóller to Palma de Mallorca to Ca'n Pastilla
Your final ride takes you through more Sierra de Tramuntana scenery. Deià is one of the prettiest villages here and was once home to writer Robert Graves. Valldemossa was where composer Chopin and novelist George Sand stayed. The coastline and olive trees, oranges, lemons, and almond trees lead you to Palma de Mallorca, then along the coastal cycle path back to Ca'n Pastilla. This is 102 km or 73 km.
