- Day 1
Athens
You'll arrive in Athens and get settled at your hotel. During the afternoon, your tour representative meets up with you for a briefing on what's ahead and a rundown of the city. After that, the rest of your day is open, so you can wander around Athens on your own schedule and get a feel for the place.

Athens to Olympia
Today you'll head to the Corinth Canal for photos, then move on to the Theater of Epidaurus and its Archaeological Museum. From there, it's on to Mycenae where you'll see the prehistoric Acropolis, the Lions Gate, and the Tomb of Agamemnon. After crossing through central Peloponnese, you'll roll into Olympia by early evening for dinner and your overnight stay.

Olympia to Delphi
Start the morning at the ancient Olympic stadium, where the first games took place around 776 BC, followed by the Museum of Olympia. Next, you'll cross the Rion-Antirion Bridge and head toward Delphi. You'll arrive in time for dinner and to settle in for the night.

- Day 4
Delphi to Kalambaka
After breakfast, you'll spend time exploring Delphi, a UNESCO World Heritage site and what ancient Greeks considered the center of the world. The Delphi Archaeological Museum is on the agenda, where you can see the Bronze Charioteer up close. Later, you'll descend Mount Parnassus and travel across the Thessaly plains, arriving in Kalambaka for dinner and rest.

Kalambaka to Athens
Early morning takes you to Meteora, another UNESCO World Heritage Site with six active monasteries sitting on top of massive rock formations. You'll make a brief stop at Thermopylae to see the statue of Spartan King Leonidas. By late afternoon, you're back in Athens and heading to your hotel.

Athens
Breakfast comes first, then an English-speaking guide leads you on a panoramic tour of Athens' Neoclassical Center, hitting the Parliament building, Temple of Zeus, and the Panathenaic Stadium. You'll check out the Acropolis and Acropolis Museum (entrance fees covered). Later, an evening walking tour takes you through Anafiotika, Thissio, Monastiraki, and Plaka neighborhoods.

Athens
This day is yours to do what you want in Athens. If you prefer something organized, there's an optional full-day cruise to three Saronic Gulf islands available. The cruise visits Aegina, Poros, and Hydra with lunch included and live Greek music and dancing onboard.

After breakfast, you'll head to Athens International Airport for your flight to Cairo. Once you land, your English-speaking representative will handle your transfer and get you checked into your hotel. The rest of your day is for relaxing and settling in.

Cairo to Luxor
Following breakfast, your day is flexible. You can explore Cairo freely or join an optional tour covering the Metropolitan Museum of Art, historic Cairo's UNESCO district, the Citadel of Saladin, Khan el Khalili bazaar, the Coptic neighborhood with its Hanging Church, and other historic sites. Later, you'll transfer to Cairo Airport for your flight to Luxor, then board your Nile cruise ship for dinner and overnight.

Luxor
Breakfast leads into a guided tour of Luxor and Karnak temples with a walk through the sphinx-lined avenue connecting them. You'll then cross the Nile to explore Thebes' Necropolis and the Valley of the Kings, where 62 pharaonic tombs wait. Queen Hatshepsut's funerary temple, the Medinat Habu temple of Ramses III, and the Colossi of Memnon are also on your list. After returning to the ship, you'll sail toward Esna and pass through the Esna Lock heading to Edfu.

Edfu to Kom Ombo
You'll catch the sunrise in Edfu, then have breakfast onboard. A carriage ride takes you to the Temple of Horus, one of Egypt's best-preserved temples. Back on the ship for lunch, and then you sail to Kom Ombo. The temple there honors both Haroeris (the falcon god) and Sobek (the crocodile god), and you can see an exhibition of mummified crocodiles. Dinner happens onboard as you sail toward Aswan through the night.

Aswan
You've got a leisurely breakfast and a relaxing morning ahead. Optionally, you can visit Abu Simbel in Nubia on Lake Nasser, where enormous statues of Ramses II mark temples that were moved to protect them from flooding. After lunch onboard, there's a chance to take a felucca (traditional sailboat) on the Nile to Elephantine Island and Kitchener Island with its botanical garden. You'll also see the Aswan Dam and visit the temple of the goddess Isis on Philae Island. Return to the ship for overnight stay.

Aswan to Cairo
After breakfast onboard, you'll disembark and transfer to Aswan Airport for your domestic flight back to Cairo. Your team meets you on arrival and takes you to your hotel in the city.

Cairo
Following breakfast, an English-speaking guide shows you the Pyramids of Giza, including the Great Sphinx, the Great Pyramid, and the Pyramid of Khufu, the only remaining Seven Wonder of the ancient world. You can add an optional trip to Saqqara's Necropolis and King Djoser's funerary complex if you want. The evening offers optional choices: a light show at the Giza Pyramids or a unique dinner show aboard a floating Nile restaurant.
