Asked on November 11th, 2022I am 85 years old use a walker to get around. I am very able to walk on smooth surfaces but would have a hard time on pebbles or grassy areas. I can do stairs with some assistance moving the walker from level to level. Would this trip be okay for me?
- Ruby Range AdventureOperator•Written November 2022
I am afraid I can't recommend you this tour. There is quite a bit of walking involved and some hotels do not have elevators as well.

Traveler•Written November 2022The walking would not be a problem if it's on a smooth surface. But no elevators definitely would be

Traveler•Written November 2022Jewels of Alaska does interest me. I would like you to find out if a healthy 86 year old woman who uses a walker would be an acceptable client. I can walk miles on solid surfaces but not on grass or mud. With assistance I can get in and out of busses and boats. I am interested in the life of the peoples of Alaska. So please let me know if the coordinator of this trip feels it would work for me.
