Itinerary
- Day 1
Vancouver to Whitehorse
You'll arrive at Vancouver International Airport and board a scenic flight with Air North heading north over the Coast Mountains to Whitehorse. The flight itself gives you your first real look at the landscape you'll be exploring. Once you land, you'll check in at your accommodation and settle in for the night after traveling.
- Day 2
Whitehorse
Start the morning with a 30-minute sightseeing flight over the winter scenery around Whitehorse. Back in town, a sightseeing tour takes you to the historic Paddlewheeler SS Klondike and the famous log skyscraper to learn about the city's northern history. From there, you'll head to the Yukon Wildlife Preserve where you can see elk, moose, caribou, mountain goats, and lynx in their natural habitat. Later in the afternoon, soak in the natural hot waters at Eclipse Nordic Hot Springs to warm up. By evening, you'll head out to a sheltered viewing location with a warm fire set up for Northern Lights viewing.

Whitehorse
This morning starts with a detailed safety briefing before you head out on the frozen winter trails with a husky team for dog sledding. You'll mush the dogs yourself and feel their power and endurance as they pull you across the landscape. After you're done, grab a beer from the famous Yukon Brewery at a downtown restaurant to celebrate. Later, you'll head to the Aurora Centre for another chance to catch the Northern Lights.

Landmarks/POIs Aurora Centre - Day 4
Whitehorse
After breakfast, a guide takes you into the mountains near Whitehorse for a snowmobile ride. Following a safety introduction, you'll ride through snow-covered mountains and frozen lakes. You can choose between an exhilarating high-speed mountain route or a more relaxing forest and trail tour depending on your preference and experience level.

Whitehorse to Vancouver
Your guide will arrange transportation to the airport in time for your flight back to Vancouver with Air North. You'll head home with memories of the Yukon winter and hopefully some Northern Lights sightings to look back on.
