We thoroughly enjoyed our 7 day tour through the beautiful Mongolian county. Our guide and driver were installed class and provided excellent services and information throughout out trip. We stayed with local nomad families and enjoyed their lifestyle and living arrangements which was 1 of the many highlights of the trip. We especially liked the local cooking and had some great food during these overnight stays. The country side is magnificent and the long daily drives pass by with different scenery at each turn. Thourghly recommended this experience for everyone.

Rating this four stars, not just for the tour, but for Mongolia as a travel destination as a whole. First, if you've researched the country you already know the roads are rough, that goes doubly when a tour involves long hours of driving in between locations. Be prepared. Guide and driver were friendly and the activities were generally well received, although I think the second stay with a nomad family could be either replaced or retooled, perhaps with a different cultural activity? Overall, an enjoyable time, but infrastructure is underdeveloped and tourism is still very much in it's early stages.

Both I and another woman over 60 years old toured in mid-April; we are both highly experienced travelers having experienced more than 30-60 countries each. At no time did we feel unsafe or uncomfortable. Incredibly, we were both amazed, impressed, and moved by the *Mongolian people*, the places, the outdoor experiences, and the deep knowledge the tour company provided. Mongolia is truly extraordinary, complex, challenging ,and unusual in many ways. High praise to the company for 1) respecting local people and their traditions first while providing guidance to us travelers how to do the same, 2) providing us with an high-quality, English-fluent guide who was so well-versed on every aspect of Mongolian history, culture, politics, geology, geography, religions, flora, fauna, etc as well as 3) a driver of great skill and ability to safely navigate challenging terrain in addition to being a keen-sighted naturalist. Both the guide and driver were kind, thoughtful, respectful, and funny; in addition to the sharing of information, we all shared many a laugh! Finally, we both felt free to ask any question about Mongolia, giving us the opportunity to learn and appreciate this extraordinary country. I was hesitant about spending 12 days with 2 folks I’d never met before in a vast wilderness landscape; this could have become very difficult with clashing personalities. However, that never happened and instead, the laughter we shared indicated we were all at ease. I can truly say that this tour was the best I’ve ever had.
