Santiago to San Pedro de Atacama

This morning you'll do a tour through Cordillera de la Sal with a stop at Valle de la Luna. After lunch, you can either visit the local village museum or spend time relaxing in the nearby hot springs, depending on what sounds better.

San Pedro de Atacama
Start in the artisan village of Toconao, then drive through the desert to Salar de Atacama salt flat. Stop in the mountain village of Socaire at 3,200m for acclimatization, then return to San Pedro by evening.
