Itinerary
- Day 1
Arusha to Tarangire National Park
A driver picks you up from your hotel in Arusha early in the morning for the 2-3 hour drive to Tarangire National Park. Once you arrive, you'll spend the day in a 4x4 with a professional guide searching for elephants, lions, giraffes, and buffaloes among the park's landscape. Over 550 bird species live here too, so keep your eyes open for different types throughout the day. Around midday you'll stop for a picnic lunch, then head back out for more wildlife watching as the afternoon light changes. After the sun starts setting, your guide will drive you back to your hotel in Arusha.
