Itinerary

  1. Day 1

    Milan

    You'll arrive at Milan Malpensa Airport and head to your hotel to settle in. Leonardo da Vinci's The Last Supper is on the schedule for either today or tomorrow depending on what tickets are available. Get some rest and take in your first evening in Milan.

  2. Day 2

    Milan

    Check out Milan's main attractions starting with the Gothic cathedral and the historic shopping arcade, one of Europe's oldest. If you're interested, there's an optional day trip to Lake Como and Bellagio you can book with your tour manager once you arrive. Pricing and exact details are available through them.

  3. Day 3

    Milan to Venice

    Travel toward Venice with a stop in Verona, the city linked to Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet story. Walk around and see the sights, then sit down for lunch at a family-run wine estate. The owners are descendants of Dante, and you'll try Amarone di Valpolicella, a local red wine from the region.

  4. Day 4

    Venice

    Start early at Doge's Palace before the morning crowds arrive. After that, wander through a real Venetian neighborhood where locals actually live. Later in the evening, you'll have a private lighting ceremony inside St. Mark's Basilica after hours, so you get to experience it without the usual tourist crowds.

  5. Day 5

    Vicenza or Padua

    Choose between two options: either explore Vicenza and its Teatro Olimpico or take a walking tour of Padua, both UNESCO World Heritage cities in the Veneto region. In the afternoon, you'll reboard your ship and sail across the lagoon toward Mazzorbo and Burano. Free time in the evening lets you stroll through Burano and see the traditional brightly painted fishermen's houses.

  6. Day 6

    Northern Lagoon Islands

    Spend your day on the northern lagoon islands. Start with a guided tour of Torcello's basilica led by an art historian, then walk through Mazzorbo and have free time in Burano after lunch to explore on your own. If you prefer, you can head to Murano in the afternoon instead to watch skilled glassblowers creating their pieces.

  7. Day 7

    Chioggia

    Visit the coastal town of Chioggia and check out the local market. You've got several activities to pick from: explore the market, take a bike tour, go on a traditional bragozzo boat with food and wine tastings, tour a noble country villa, or visit Palazzo Goldoni. Pick what interests you most.

    Po Delta

    Embark on a sailing trip out to the Po Delta where the Po River flows into the Adriatic Sea. You'll explore the area and then sail back toward Venice, arriving around lunchtime.

    Venice

    Glide into Venice by water taxi, passing narrow side canals and the Canal Grande to reach the iconic Rialto Bridge. This historic stone bridge sits at the narrowest point of the canal and is lined with shops and restaurants. Choose from several activities like walking tours, visits to gondola workshops, mask makers' studios, or traditional rowing experiences.
