    Beijing

    You'll land at Beijing Airport where your guide meets you. After settling in, head to a local restaurant for dinner featuring Beijing's famous roast duck, then get to your hotel for the night.

  2. Day 2

    Beijing

    Following breakfast at the hotel, you'll walk through the Forbidden City, the sprawling imperial palace with its rooms, halls, and gardens. Lunch comes at a local spot, then you'll check out the historic Hutongs and tour a traditional courtyard home to learn about local life. Back at the hotel by evening.

    Beijing

Lunch happens near the wall, then you'll visit the Temple of Heaven, an imperial temple from 1420. Return to relax at your hotel.

    Beijing to Xi'an

After lunch, head to the airport for your flight to Xi'an, meet your guide upon arrival, and check in.

    Xi'an

Break for lunch, then see the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, a 1,300-year-old Tang dynasty structure that once held Buddhist relics. Return to your hotel.

    Tour the Bund, a major spot with Chinese and Western architecture from the early 1900s, and walk the promenade with Huangpu River views. Lunch at a local restaurant, then visit Yu Garden, a classical Chinese garden with a long history. Have a farewell dinner at a local spot to reflect on your trip before heading back to the hotel.
