Itinerary

  1. Day 1

    Grand Cayman

You'll arrive and connect with your representative who handles your transfer to Marriott Grand Cayman Beach Resort. After settling in, the afternoon opens up for different options - there's yoga available right on the beach, or you can grab a bike to get around and see the area. The resort has GoPro equipment to borrow if you want to capture footage, and the pool's there if you prefer to unwind. Come evening, head over to Camana Bay for dinner, a waterfront spot with shopping and restaurants mixed together.

Dinner (Dinner at one of the restaurants at Camana Bay)

    Included Activities

    • Yoga on the beach
    • Bike rental from resort

    Grand Cayman

After breakfast, you'll meet up with your guide for a walk through George Town, the capital. The National Museum gives you context on the island's past, and then you'll check out the Craft Market to pick up local items. Along the way, you'll see the Legislative Assembly, the library, and Town Hall. There's a lunch stop at Paradise Grill where something different happens - you snorkel with fish right there before eating their fish sandwich. From there, it's back to the resort.

    Included Activities

    • City tour of George Town
    • National Museum visit

  3. Day 3

    Little Cayman

You'll check out and head to Little Cayman, which is tiny with just around 200 people living there. After checking in at Southern Cross Club, later in the afternoon you can grab a bike or scooter to get around. Point of Sand beach is worth the trip for hunting seashells and snorkeling, plus there's a good chance to spot loggerhead turtles in the shallow water. Dinner happens at the resort.

    Little Cayman

Today takes you out to Owen Island, an uninhabited spot that sits offshore and has basically nothing built on it. You'll pack a picnic lunch from the hotel and kayak the short distance out there to explore. Later, head to the Hungry Iguana restaurant which has a sea-view verandah where local people and other travelers hang out. It's a good spot to grab refreshments and chat.

The Bluff rises about 150 feet and runs the length of the island, making it the highest point in the country. If you're a certified diver, you can do wall dives or check out the Captain Keith Tibbetts wreck.

The Bat Cave is worth exploring with its stalactites and stalagmites. A guided nature walk takes you to the Cayman Brac Parrot Reserve where you might see the endangered Cayman Brac Parrot. Lunch comes at a local restaurant serving traditional Caymanian food. The afternoon is yours to relax on the beaches, swim, or just hang out under the palms. You'll be back at the resort for dinner.
