Itinerary
- Day 1
Tirana/Durres to Vlore
You'll drive south from Tirana or Durres along the Adriatic coast this morning. First stop is Apollonia Archeological Park, where you can walk through Greco-Roman temples and a Byzantine church with sea views, plus check out the museum there. After that, head to Narta Lagoon for some birdwatching if you're into it - flamingos and pelicans are common sights. Later you'll reach Vlore, the coastal city where you'll have time to walk around the Old Town and Independence Square. The religious sites worth seeing include the Muradie Mosque and Kuzum Baba Bektashi Temple. By evening you'll head back to your hotel.
