Itinerary
- Day 1
Madrid to Cordoba
Pick up happens at 8:15am in Madrid with departure at 8:30am heading south toward Toledo, the former capital sitting high above the Tajo River. You'll walk through its cobbled streets and come across Muslim mosques, Jewish synagogues, and Christian cathedrals all within the old city. The route takes you through Castilla-La Mancha with a stop at Despenaperros Natural Park before reaching Cordoba. By evening you'll have free time to check out the city's lively squares and look around the architecture.

- Day 2
Cordoba to Granada
Start the day at La Mezquita, a Moorish mosque featuring ornate arches with a cathedral inside, and your entrance comes with an audio guide included. From there the route goes through olive tree-covered hills into Jaen province, which is the center of Spain's olive oil production. You'll see the hilltop fortress of Fortaleza de la Mota before heading to Granada early in the evening for a two-night stay.

- Day 3
Granada to Guadix and return to Granada
The day starts at the UNESCO-listed Alhambra fortress and palace with entrance and audio guide included so you can explore this cavernous architectural site on your own pace. Later in the afternoon head to the unique Barrio de las Cuevas in Guadix, and there's an option to visit the Guadix Cave Dwellings Interpretation Centre if you want more detail. Time permitting, you'll get a photo stop of the Sierra Nevada mountains. Back in Granada by evening with time to wander around and try some tapas.

Granada to Seville
Begin at El Torcal de Antequera nature reserve in the Sierra del Torcal Mountains where you'll see incredible limestone formations across the landscape. Continue through Andalucia's countryside and through Malaga's 'Lake District' before reaching Ronda, which sits dramatically on the edge of El Tajo Gorge cliffs. You'll have free time to look around and grab lunch. Then it's off to an olive oil farm with entrance included to learn how olive oil production works. The journey wraps up in Seville for a two-night stay.

- Day 5
Seville
You have the full day at your own pace to explore Seville however you like. Options include the iconic cathedral, grabbing a glass of wine in Plaza de Espana, or walking along the Guadalquivir River banks. Your guide can offer suggestions for what to do. If you prefer something structured, there's an optional half-day tour available to Jerez, which is known for flamenco, horses, and sherry production. The evening is free back in Seville.

Seville to Lisbon
Depart Seville heading west toward Costa de la Luz, known for bright sunshine and golden beaches with a stop in Huelva, a seaside city where Christopher Columbus once planned his voyage. You'll visit the waterside exhibition of Muelle de las Carabelas featuring life-size replicas of Columbus's three ships (entrance included). After crossing into Portugal the route goes through the Algarve with a stop in Tavira on the River Gilao to wander the cobblestone streets, see the ancient Roman bridge, and try some Portuguese food. The tour ends in Lisbon at 19:00.
