Itinerary
- Day 1
Zanzibar to Arusha to Tarangire National Park
Your safari starts with a morning flight from Zanzibar to Arusha, and your guide will meet you when you arrive. From there, you'll head straight to Tarangire National Park for a full day of game driving. Keep your eyes open for elephants, lions, leopards, giraffes, and zebras hanging around the Tarangire River. There's a picnic lunch somewhere in the middle of all this, and then you'll settle into Ngedere Tent & Camp for dinner and your first night.

Ngorongoro Crater to Zanzibar
After an early breakfast, you'll drive over to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the crater for a 5-hour game drive. You're looking at the Big Five here, plus hippos, hyenas, wildebeest, and flamingos around the crater lakes. Lunch happens at Hippo Pool (you'll see why it's named that), and after you finish eating, you'll make your way back up and head to Arusha Airport for your afternoon flight back to Zanzibar.
