Shanghai
You'll arrive in Shanghai and head to your hotel to get settled in. The rest of your day is yours to relax after traveling.

Shanghai
Start the morning at Yuyuan Garden, then walk through Shanghai Old Street and Nanjing Road to check out silk products and souvenirs. After lunch at a local Chinese restaurant, take a leisurely stroll along the Bund, stop by the Jade Buddha Temple, and see the Oriental Pearl TV Tower from the Riverside Promenade.

Shanghai
Travel to Zhujiajiao Water Town and take a short boat ride through the waterways. You'll wander around the old bridges, willow-shaded streams, and traditional courtyards. Following lunch at a local restaurant, head back to Shanghai for free shopping time.

Shanghai to Hanoi
Your morning is free before heading to the airport. You can take the Maglev train to Pudong or arrange a driver. Fly to Hanoi and transfer to your hotel.

Hanoi
Start early with a guided tour of Hanoi. See Tran Quoc Pagoda on Golden Fish Island, explore the Ho Chi Minh complex with his mausoleum and residences, and visit the One Pillar Pagoda. Later, check out the Vietnam Ethnology Museum, Temple of Literature, and Hoa Lo Prison Museum. Lunch includes Vietnamese cuisine with 8 dishes.

Hanoi to Halong Bay
Travel through the scenic Red River Delta with rice paddies to reach Halong Bay. Explore limestone rocks and karst grottoes by cruise, enjoy seafood lunch, then visit famous caves with options for kayaking or swimming near floating villages. Return for early dinner and evening activities.

Halong Bay to Ho Chi Minh City
Wake early to watch the sunrise and have breakfast in the dining room. Join a Tai Chi class on the sun deck, then explore limestone caves with stalagmites and stalactites. Check out and enjoy brunch while cruising back, then transfer to Hanoi airport for your flight to Ho Chi Minh City.

- Day 8
Cu Chi
Take a bus about an hour and a half northwest to Cu Chi Tunnels, 70 km from the city. Watch an introductory video, then walk through the tunnel network including living areas, kitchens, and bedrooms. See hidden trap doors and learn about wartime survival. Sample tea and cassava, and those interested can try shooting guns before returning.

Mekong Delta
Travel to My Tho on the Mekong River and visit Vinh Trang Pagoda from the 1800s. Board a sampan and cruise to four islands, stopping at Unicorn Island to walk through country lanes, view orchards, and try tropical fruits with folk music. Later take a hand-rowed sampan through the canal and visit family businesses and a honey farm. Afternoon includes cycling around Tan Thach village or relaxing in a hammock with local villagers before returning.

Take a guided tour of Bangkok's major temples. See the famous Golden Buddha at Wat Trimit, the massive Reclining Buddha at Wat Pho decorated with inlaid mother-of-pearl, and the marble Wat Benchamabophit. You'll also drive past the Royal Field, Democracy Monument, notable avenues, and palaces.

Bangkok to Phuket
Spend your final hours in Bangkok before your driver transfers you to the airport for your flight to Phuket. After arrival, you'll be picked up and transferred to your accommodation. The rest of the day is free.

Phuket
You have a relaxing day to explore Phuket on your own. Take it easy and enjoy the island at your preferred pace.

- Excursion to Phang Nga Bay group tour - Meet cruise team at hotel, complimentary tea and coffee at Ao Por Pier, scenic cruise through karst islets, canoe trip through sea caves and mangroves at Panak Island, canoeing or kayaking at Hong Island with local guide to hidden caves and lagoons, buffet lunch, visit Khao Phing Kan and James Bond Island (Ko Ta Pu), secluded beach swimming and sunbathing, return around 3:30 pm to Phuket (requires 3 days notice)
