You'll arrive at New Delhi airport where a representative meets you for your hotel transfer. The rest of your day is free, so you can walk around the city at your own pace, checking out the busy streets and tree-lined boulevards whenever you feel like it.

Thimphu to Punakha
After breakfast you drive from Thimphu to Punakha through Dochula Pass, which has 108 chortens built by the Queen Mother and offers Himalayan views on clear days. Once you check in, you visit Punakha Dzong at the river junction, then hike to Chimi Lhakhang and explore the nearby village.

If there's time left, you can visit Ta Dzong, Rinpung Dzong, Kichu Lhakhang, and Drukgyal Dzong before heading back to your hotel.
