I would like to pass on 2 suggestions: The trekking tour in Sapa at this time of year (August) was really only for well-trained people who are prepared to take risks. It was a very long, very steep downhill hike over soaked and slippery paths. We couldn't have done it without the local helpers. I would advise anyone not to do this tour in these trail conditions. It would be good to point this out in advance and mention the alternative hiking trails (road). The floating market of Cai Rang was disappointing because you have the lively floating markets of Thailand in front of your eyes. We had the impression that Cai Rang was an artificial tourist attraction that was not particularly exciting. Asked on September 17th, 2024If I click SOLO traveler my price goes double. But I was told, that when I purchase the first tour ( days INTRO to spend in Thailand, I wasn't charged extra. even though all the nights my daugher was paired with another female. So something doesn't look right.
