Itinerary
- Day 1
Ryn
You'll start your Polish lakes adventure with a boat trip across Lake Sniardwy, which takes about an hour and a half. The water's peaceful and you'll see the glacial landscape all around you. After that, head to Ryn to check out the 14th-century castle built by the Teutonic Knights. The region here is full of forests, lakes, and hiking trails. You'll stay overnight at the castle.

- Day 2
Lidzbark Warmiński
After breakfast, you're heading to Kęrzyn, a town with about 30,000 people. There's a 14th-century castle to explore, and you'll learn about how significant it was historically since it sat at the crossroads of Warmia and Mazury. In the afternoon, continue on to Lidzbark Warminski, which they call the Pearl of Warmia. This is where Copernicus lived at one point, and the historic town is worth walking through. You'll stay at Krasicki Castle for the night.

Ostroda
After breakfast, you're transferring to Olsztyn to see the castle that belonged to the Warmia chapter. Some of it dates back to 1348. From there, head to Ostroda, one of the oldest towns in the Mazurian lake region. You'll see the Gothic castle built by the Teutonic Knights back in 1393, and there are neo-Gothic churches to explore too. You'll spend the night at Mortegi Palace.

Malbork
After breakfast, you're driving to Gdansk for a guided tour through the old town. You'll walk past the Crane Gate, Neptune Fountain, and St. Mary's Church with its astronomical clock. There are beautiful Renaissance town houses and city gates to see, plus if you're interested, you can shop for Polish amber. In the afternoon, head to Malbork to see the UNESCO-listed castle built by the Teutonic Knights, which is really impressive. You'll stay at Castle Gniew.

- Day 5
Elbląg Canal
After breakfast, you're heading to Buczyniec for a 2-hour cruise on the Elblęg-Ostroda Canal, which is one of the 7 wonders of Poland and recognized by UNESCO for its water engineering. Built between 1844 and 1860, this canal has innovative engineering that lets boats move up steep terrain. The tour ends here, though you can arrange individual extensions if you want to keep going.
