Itinerary
- Day 1
Departure
Your flight to Bali takes off today. You'll head to the airport and settle in for the journey ahead, with thoughts of rice paddies and beach time on your mind. The trip officially begins as you leave for the island.
- Day 2
Arrival in Ubud
You'll land in Denpasar and get transferred to Ubud, where you can check into your accommodation and catch your breath. After that, there's time to walk around and see the green rice terraces, local temples, and the creative spots scattered throughout town. It gives you a real sense of Ubud's spiritual atmosphere right away.

- Day 3
Ubud Exploration
This day focuses on Ubud's creative side. You'll walk through the colorful markets, check out art galleries, and browse handmade shops. Later, head to the Sacred Monkey Forest where you can see around 600 macaques in their natural jungle environment. The temples and local food spots round out your time here.

- Day 4
Gate of Heaven and Water Temples
A local driver takes you east to visit Lempuyang Temple and the famous Gate of Heaven, which offers views of Mount Agung. If you're interested, stop at Tirta Gangga water temple afterward to walk across stone slabs and experience the temple atmosphere. The drive gives you a different side of the island.

- Day 5
Ubud Palace and Tegallalang Rice Terraces
Start at Ubud Palace to see the temple complex and traditional architecture. Then take the scenic Campuhan Ridge Walk that passes through rice terraces and palm trees. After that, head to Tegallalang rice fields for the views, and round out the day with the Jungle Swing if you want an adrenaline kick in tropical surroundings.

- Day 6
Travel to Gili Trawangan
Leave Ubud with a driver heading to the harbor, then board a speedboat to Gili Trawangan. Once you arrive, a traditional cidomo (horse-drawn cart) takes you to your accommodation. Spend your first evening checking out the island's lively bar scene or just settling into the relaxed beach atmosphere.

Beach Day at Gili Trawangan
You can spend the day on the white sand beach with clear water and good weather. Grab a spot to relax in the sun and take in the sea breeze. When you feel like doing something, there are options for diving courses or snorkeling gear rental available around the island.

- Day 8
Gili Trawangan Exploration
Rent a scooter and explore the island on your own. Make your way up to Gili Trawangan Hilltop, the highest point at about 100 meters, which gives you panoramic views of the beaches. Later, watch the sunset from up there, then head down to the night market to try local food from the various stalls.

- Day 9
Transfer to Senggigi, Lombok
Take the speedboat back to the mainland and then transfer to Senggigi on Lombok. Settle into your accommodation and spend time at Senggigi Beach with its palm trees and turquoise water. The sunset here is particularly nice, so try to catch that if the timing works out.

- Day 10
Day 1
Your Mount Rinjani trek starts today with a guide and group. You'll hike from Sembalun Lawang Village (1,156 meters) through dry savannah and grassland with Cemara trees until you reach Sembalun Rim at 2,639 meters. Set up camp for the night and have dinner while looking at the mountain landscape around you.

- Day 11
Mount Rinjani Summit and Return
Get up at 2:30am with your headlamp for the final push to Mount Rinjani's summit at 3,726 meters. Watch the sunrise break over Segara Anak Lake inside the volcanic crater. After taking it all in, you'll head back down and transfer to beach accommodation by afternoon.

- Day 12
Scooter Beach Hopping
Travel by scooter along the coast with your driver, passing through rice paddies and small villages. Stop at Selong Belanak Beach to watch surfers or walk along the long stretch of sand. Continue on to Mawun Beach, then finish at Bukit Merese hill to catch the sunset over the water.

Surf Lesson and Kuta Town
Take a small group surf lesson with professional instructors at Selong Belanak Beach. After getting some waves in, head into Kuta town to see the laid-back vibe there. Stroll the streets, have dinner at local restaurants, and wrap up the evening with a cold drink.

Beach Relaxation Day

- Day 16
Transfer to Canggu
Transfer from Selong Belanak to Canggu, Bali's well-known surfer spot. Get settled into your accommodation and jump right into the scene. Walk barefoot through the streets, relax on the beach watching surfers work, and have a cool drink while taking in the beach vibe.

- Day 17
Canggu Beach and Sunset
You have the whole day open in Canggu. Chill on the white sand and watch the surfers, or try a first surf lesson at one of the beach clubs between Batu Bolong and Canggu Beach. As the sun gets lower, the sky turns orange, pink and purple, which is a great time to just be present on the beach.

Departure

Your plane lands and you're back home, though your mind is still in Bali. You're full of stories about scooter rides, early morning hikes, local food, and new perspectives. The memories from this trip are already ones you'll be sharing for a while.
