Departure
Your Australian adventure kicks off at the airport as you board your flight to Perth. It's time to settle in, relax, and let the excitement build for what's coming. The flight gives you a chance to catch up on sleep or just think about the trip ahead.
- Day 2
Perth
After landing in Perth, you'll get to your accommodation and start exploring the city. Head out to Elizabeth Quay where the skyscrapers reflect off the water, then grab a photo at the Spanda sculpture. Kings Park is next on your list, where you can walk the Federation Walkway and take in views across the city. Before the day ends, check out London Court, a charming 1937 passageway with English style and a Big Ben replica.

Rottnest Island / Fremantle
Today offers two great options depending on what appeals to you. You can take the ferry out to Rottnest Island to bike around and spot quokkas, swim in clear lagoons, and maybe snag that famous quokka selfie. Or visit Fremantle instead, wandering through colorful market stalls and exploring the World Heritage prison. Some people do both if time allows.

- Day 4
Perth
Take the day at a slower pace and explore Subiaco. Wander through boutiques, bookshops, and hip cafes with an iced coffee in hand. Later, head to Cottesloe Beach to spend time by the water, try some gelato, and watch the sun dip below the horizon. It's a great way to wind down and soak in Perth life.

Camper Pickup
Pick up your campervan in the morning and head north toward Yanchep National Park to see koalas and kangaroos up close. From there, the landscape shifts as you drive coastal roads into desert terrain. Try sandboarding at the Lancelin dunes, see the limestone pinnacles at Nambung National Park, and if you're lucky spot dolphins at Hangover Bay. End your first evening with a BBQ at Kangaroo Point before settling into camp.

- Day 6
Coastal Drive
Start early and drive north, stopping at Ellendale Pool for a swim in the natural rock pool or a walk around the lake. Greenough shows you what 19th-century settler life looked like with its historic houses. Then it's on to Geraldton for photos at the Point Moore lighthouse. Later, you'll reach Hutt Lagoon, where the pink water created by algae makes for surreal photos with those shimmering layers.

Hiking
Start with coffee in front of your camper, then head to Kalbarri National Park. Catch the pelicans being fed at sunrise at Murchison Caravan Park, then lace up your boots for serious hiking. Nature's Window Trail takes you to a rock formation with gorge views and impressive red and white sandstone. Z Bend River Trail follows, offering dramatic 150-meter cliff views. Finish your day with a sunset hike at Joffre Gorge for one final scenic vista.

- Day 8
Wildlife & Beaches
Drive into Shark Bay region to see some incredible natural wonders. Start at Hamelin Pool to check out the 3500-year-old stromatolites. Head to Nanga Bay with its crystal-clear water, then Shell Beach where the sand is actually made of trillions of shells. Eagle Bluff is your next stop for spotting rays, sea turtles, and sharks in their natural habitat. End at Little Lagoon, a turquoise spot perfect for a shallow water dip before heading back to camp.

- Day 9
Dolphin Encounter
Wake up early and head to Monkey Mia beach for a magical experience watching wild dolphins feed in the clear morning water. This happens naturally each day and it's something you won't forget. Enjoy the peaceful yellow sand and watch the local pelicans too. If you want, book a tour to Francois Peron National Park for red sand dunes and turquoise waters, then continue on to Gladstone.

Road Trip & Shark Sanctuary
Grab breakfast with views from your camper as you head south through different landscapes. Stop in Carnarvon to try local produce and fruit farm specialties. Later, reach Coral Bay and take a coastal walk to Skeleton Bay, which is actually a shark nursery. With some luck you might see small reef sharks, or just appreciate the unique sunset in this quiet location.

Whale Sharks & Cape Range National Park
Head to Exmouth and consider an optional snorkel with whale sharks, those gentle giants that only eat plankton. Explore Cape Range National Park's gorges starting with Charles Knife Canyon and its Grand Canyon-like views of white beaches and turquoise sea. Cool off at Turquoise Bay, hike through Mandu Mandu Gorge with Indian Ocean views, then finish at Yardie Creek where red rock faces meet blue water. Watch for wallabies in the cliff caves.

Exmouth to Karijini National Park
Start with a relaxed morning on Exmouth beach with sunglasses and cool drinks in hand. If you didn't snorkel yesterday, today's a good chance to do it. Stock up on supplies during a shopping trip, then drive inland toward Karijini National Park. The route takes you through green bushland and red sand hills on sandy tracks. Once at camp, enjoy a BBQ and look up at the Milky Way.

- Day 13
Dales Gorges Hiking
Pack water, sunscreen, hiking boots, and provisions for a full day of gorge exploration. Start at Fortescue Falls and head into Dales Gorges following the waterfall down to Fern Pool, a perfect cool-off spot with a small jetty. Optionally continue to Circular Pool, then return via Three Ways Lookout for panoramic views. End your day with a sunset hike at Joffre Gorge to see the waterfall and pool framed by amphitheater-like rock formations.

Hancock Gorge & Hamersley Gorge Hiking
Continue exploring Karijini with more challenging hikes through ancient rock formations and smaller pools. Visit Hancock Gorge to find Kermit's Pool, a journey sometimes called 'Journey to the Center of the Earth.' Then hike through Hamersley Gorge to discover a spa pool surrounded by the gorge with a waterfall, perfect for cooling off and capturing photos as you wrap up your hiking adventures.

Outback Road Trip
Start your morning with a yoga session in front of your camper while surrounded by outback wildlife. Have your coffee and maybe challenge yourself to count every kangaroo you see today. After packing, refueling, and restocking supplies, drive through the golden outback. Stop in Meekathara to explore ghost towns and old mines from the gold prospecting era, stepping back in time.

Camper Return
Complete your road trip's final leg back to Perth with your journey's music playing. Greet the Bell Tower landmark and snap a photo before returning the camper. Spend your final afternoon in trendy Northbridge for evening drinks and conversation, or head to Scarborough to watch surfers catch waves against a spectacular sunset.

Perth to Sydney
Fly to Sydney and take a train to your hotel. Head to Circular Quay to see the iconic Opera House and Harbour Bridge, perfect for photos. Go inside the Opera House, grab a drink at the Opera Bar, then walk to Milsons Point for the best views. As the sun sets, walk across the Harbour Bridge and watch the Opera House and skyline transform into colorful lights.
