  1. Day 1

    Quito to Isabela Island

    Start with an early transfer to Quito's airport for the 3-hour flight to the Galapagos, which includes a stop in Guayaquil. After you clear customs at Baltra, a 30-minute flight takes you to Isabela Island where you'll check in at your oceanfront hotel. The rest of the day is yours to relax, walk along the beach, and catch the sunset.

  2. Day 2

    Isabela Island

    Leave at 8:30 am by private yacht heading to the Tuneles, about an hour away by speedboat. On the route you'll see volcanic formations like Cerro Azul, Alcedo, and Union Rock. Once there, walk through the lava formations and look for blue-footed boobies, pelicans, and frigate birds. Lunch happens onboard, then you'll snorkel in the waters where sea turtles, seahorses, marine iguanas, and sea lions hang out. Back at the hotel by afternoon.

  3. Day 3

    Isabela Island

    An early 30-minute bus ride takes you to Volcan Sierra Negra where you'll hike up to the volcano caldera. Along the way observe endemic plants and birds, and if the weather cooperates, you'll get great volcano views. The 2018 eruption left visible remnants to see. After returning to the park control, you can either grab a snack back at the hotel or bike downhill through the island's crops toward town, stopping at the Sucre Cave on the way.

    After breakfast, head to the airport for a 35-minute flight to San Cristobal Island. Your representative meets you and drives you to the hotel for check-in. Then visit the Interpretation Center and hike to Tijeretas Hill, the spot where Darwin first landed, for bay views and close looks at frigate birds and blue-footed boobies on the cliffs. Spend some time near the sea lions at Playa Mann and watch the sunset before heading back to the hotel.

    San Cristobal Island

    After breakfast, board a speedboat for a day trip to Kicker Rock, exploring San Cristobal's coast with good bird and landscape viewing. You'll snorkel through the channel at the rock formation looking for sharks, fish, turtles, rays, and sea lions. Lunch happens onboard, and later you'll have quiet time at either Cerro Brujo or Manglesito beach before returning to town.

    After breakfast, fly to Baltra Island where your guide leads you through the Santa Cruz highlands. Stop at Twin Craters and a Giant Tortoises Ranch to see wild tortoises in their natural state and explore the lava tunnels. Then visit the Charles Darwin Research Station to learn about the conservation work happening there. Finally, transfer to your hotel in Puerto Ayora for the night.

    Santa Cruz Island

    Early morning you'll head by private transportation to Itabaca Canal where a private yacht is waiting for your trip to Bartolome Island. The day includes sightseeing, hiking, snorkeling with gear provided, and lunch onboard. You'll see Pinnacle Rock, one of the most photographed spots in the Galapagos, and walk through the island's volcanic formations in red, orange, green, and black. Swim and snorkel at the northern landing before heading back to Puerto Ayora for your last night.

    Santa Cruz Island to Quito/Guayaquil

    After breakfast, check out at 10:00 am. Your representative and driver pick you up and take you to Baltra Airport for your flight to Guayaquil or Quito (depending on your booking). Once you arrive, your driver meets you and transports you to a hotel near the airport for your final night in Ecuador. Or if preferred, you can connect to your international flight the same day.
