Itinerary
- Day 1
Moshi/Arusha to Tarangire National Park
You'll drive from Moshi or Arusha toward Tarangire National Park, which takes about 3 hours. Once there, spend the day watching massive herds of wildebeest and zebras move across the landscape, along with elephants, elands, and oryx. The concentration of animals here is really something. By evening you'll head back to Omega View Lodge or a similar property in Karatu for the night.

Ngorongoro Crater
This morning you'll do a half-day game drive in Ngorongoro Crater, which is one of the best spots in Tanzania to find black rhinos and lions with those impressive black manes. As you drive through the crater, you'll see flamingoes and other water birds, plus leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, and antelopes scattered around. Small mammals appear regularly too. After you finish the drive, head back to Omega View Lodge for dinner and settle in for the night.

- Day 3
Lake Manyara National Park to Moshi/Arusha
After leaving Omega View Lodge, you'll drive to Lake Manyara National Park. Stop for lunch once you arrive, and then get out on a game drive through the park. You'll see monkeys and elephants hanging out under the shade of baobab trees, along with zebras, impalas, giraffes, buffalos, and hippos. Late in the afternoon, start driving back to your hotel in either Moshi or Arusha.
