Itinerary
- Day 1
Windhoek to Kwessi Dunes
You'll arrive at Hosea Kutako International Airport in Windhoek and meet your tour team. Once you're through customs and immigration, you'll board a private aircraft heading to Kwessi Dunes. The flight itself is part of the experience, giving you views of Namibia's desert from above before you land and settle into your lodge.

Landmarks Hosea Kutako International Airport Namib Desert - Day 2
Kwessi Dunes
This day is spent exploring NamibRand Nature Reserve, a 200,000-hectare stretch of desert. You'll see rolling plains, red dunes, and craggy mountains while looking for antelope moving across the sand. As evening comes, you'll have chances to watch the night sky and do some stargazing before heading back to your accommodations.

Kwessi Dunes to Hoanib Valley Camp
A private aircraft takes you from Kwessi Dunes to Hoanib Valley Camp. After landing at the airstrip, your team will help you get settled at the camp. You'll have time to check out what Hoanib Valley has to offer and get oriented to your new surroundings.

Landmarks Hoanib Valley - Day 4
Hoanib Valley Camp
You're in one of the best spots in Namibia to see desert-adapted wildlife like elephants, giraffes, lions, and rhinos. Spend time on guided walks through the valley to see smaller plants and animals. You can also relax on your private veranda, learn about giraffe research happening in the area, and spend time with local Herero people to understand how they live in this harsh environment.

Landmarks Hoanib Valley - Day 5
Hoanib Valley Camp to Shipwreck Lodge
You'll transfer by private aircraft to Shipwreck Lodge and check in. The team will show you around the lodge and talk through what activities are available. Afterward, you can explore the desert and coastal landscape on your own terms or just settle in and take in the views of the ocean and surrounding terrain.

Landmarks Skeleton Coast - Day 6
Shipwreck Lodge
Start with breakfast at sunrise to take in the dramatic views surrounding your shipwreck accommodation. Then head out to explore dry riverbeds and climb the great dunes. You'll learn about the history of shipwrecks along the coast and look for tok-tokkie beetles and unusual plants and lichens that grow in the cold ocean fog.

Shipwreck Lodge to Windhoek
You'll leave Shipwreck Lodge and head back to Hosea Kutako Airport in Windhoek for your flight home. On the way, you'll have time to reflect on everything you've seen during your time in Namibia's remote corners.
