- LTLaurie· November 27th, 2023We had an incredible visit to Egypt and Morocco with Odynovo. Our guides and drivers were excellent. In particular, we want to highlight our guide in Cairo, Islam Khalaf. He was very, very knowledgeable in Egyptian history, culture and the religious aspects of the region. What's more, Islam was flexible, kind and responsive. He even took us to several "local" restaurants and stores in addition to the "tourist" ones we also enjoyed! As we were traveling in the immediate aftermath of the October 7th war with Israel and Hamas, our safety was a concern for us and we never experienced a moment of concern on our trip. We believe Islam truly cared about us as people, not just clients. If we are lucky enough to visit Egypt/Cairo again, we will definitely request Islam Khalaf. We cannot recommend him highly enough! (And thanks to Ramee for getting us through the Cairo airport several times during our trip and facilitating our last minute add-on to Abu Simbel.) I also want to recommend our driver and guide in Morocco, Rashid - also booked through Odynovo. We spent many hours with Rashid and loved every moment. I can't imagine seeing Morocco without him. Hassan in Casablanca was wonderful as well.
