Itinerary

Day 1
Hue
You'll get picked up this morning and head straight to Hue's Imperial Citadel with a guide who'll walk you through the former Nguyen Dynasty seat. The Flag Tower, Nine Dynastic Urns, and Thai Hoa Palace are the main structures you'll see there. After grabbing lunch at a local restaurant, you'll visit the tombs of emperors Tu Duc and Khai Dinh to learn about royal philosophy and geomancy principles. By late afternoon, you'll take a boat trip on the Perfume River and stop at Thien Mu Pagoda before heading back.

The organisers always gave quick and helpful replies and up-dated us on the following day’s times and itineraries. Perhaps a few more details would have helped and not all the guides spoke a reasonable English and thus they did not give us detailed historical and cultural information.

Payment information
- For any tour departing before January 20th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after January 20th, 2026, a minimum payment of 10% is required to confirm your booking with Indochina Today Travel. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 35 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and Indochina Today Travel will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
- The following cards are accepted for "Indochina Today Travel" tours: Visa, Maestro, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal. TourRadar does NOT charge you an extra fee for using any of these payment methods.
