Itinerary
- Day 1
Hanoi
Your guide picks you up early to start exploring Hanoi's historical sites. First stop is Tran Quoc Pagoda, one of the city's oldest temples, followed by the Ho Chi Minh Complex where you'll see his mausoleum and walk through his former residences. From there you'll head to the One Pillar Pagoda, then check out either the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology or the Women Museum depending on what's open that day. After that comes the Temple of Literature, an important cultural site for scholars. By lunchtime you'll sit down for a traditional Vietnamese meal with eight dishes at a local restaurant. In the afternoon you'll visit the Hoa Lo Prison Museum before heading back to your hotel by late afternoon.
