Itinerary
- Day 1
High Atlas Mountains to Todra Gorge
Start early and cross the High Atlas Mountain via Tizi-n-Tichka Pass where you'll see some great scenery while heading toward the oasis town of Ouarzazate. After lunch, keep going through the Valley of the Roses and the Valley of 1000 Kasbahs to reach Todra Gorge for the night. The drive takes you through changing landscapes, so you'll want to have a camera ready during the pass.

- Day 2
Todra Gorge to Merzouga Desert
Following breakfast, take a guided walk through the palmerie and Kasbah in Tinghir. Lunch happens at Todra Gorge, and then you'll head to the Merzouga Dunes in the Sahara Desert via Erfoud, passing through the Rissani Oasis along the way. Once there, ride a camel into the desert and settle in at a traditional Berber camp where you'll sleep under the stars. It's quite different from hotels, so bring layers for the temperature drop at night (around 50°F/10°C).

- Day 3
Merzouga to Marrakech
You'll want to get up early to climb to the top of the dunes and watch the sunrise, which is worth the early start. After breakfast, ride your camel back to the auberge and then depart for Marrakech. The return journey gives you time to process the experience before heading back to the city (around 65°F/18°C in the morning).
