- Day 1
Hobart
You'll arrive in Hobart and head to your centrally located accommodation to get settled. Later this afternoon at 5pm, you'll meet the tour team and fellow travelers for welcoming drinks, then sit down for a two-course dinner to kick things off.

Hobart to Bruny Island
This morning you're picked up at 7:30am and driven to Kettering to catch the ferry across D'Entrecasteaux Channel. From there, you'll board the Bruny Island Wilderness Cruise to see rugged coastlines, sea cliffs, and caves while looking for seals, dolphins, and whales. Lunch happens at the Bruny Island Cruises Restaurant, then you'll stop at the Neck lookout for views across the island. Before heading back to Hobart, there's time to sample local honey, cheese, and oysters.

- Day 3
Hobart
Your hotel pickup is at 8:00am for a full day exploring Hobart and surrounds. You'll get a guided commentary loop through the CBD, then head up to kunanyi (Mt Wellington) for panoramic views. Salamanca Markets comes next with morning tea and browsing 300 stalls of local goods. After that, it's off to Richmond to check out historic convict buildings and Australia's oldest bridge, grabbing lunch at one of the local cafes. The afternoon includes the Wicked Cheese Company and MONA Museum, then the MONA ROMA ferry brings you back to the waterfront. Your evening is free to explore the CBD and waterfront at your own pace.

- Day 4
Hobart to Port Arthur
A 9:00am start takes you on a 90-minute drive east through farmlands and vineyards toward Port Arthur. You'll stop at Pirate's Bay for photos, then visit the Tasmanian Chocolate Foundry for tastings. Next comes the Port Arthur Lavender farm to walk through the fields and browse the gift shop. Once at Port Arthur Historic Site, you'll have 3-4 hours to explore, including a harbour cruise and optional lunch at the cafes. There's an optional visit to Remarkable Caves if you want to descend 115 steps for dramatic coastal views. Later you'll settle into beachfront accommodation with dinner at the Lodges restaurant On the Bay.

- Day 5
Port Arthur to Bicheno
You depart Port Arthur at 7:30am heading toward Freycinet National Park and Wineglass Bay. Morning tea stops at Kate's Berry Farm, then you'll travel through Swansea and Apslawn forest reserve. Lunch happens at Devil's Corner Vineyard with wine tasting overlooking Great Oyster Bay. At Freycinet, you choose between the Grade 3 Wineglass Bay lookout walk (1.5 hours, 2.6km return with steps) or the easier Grade 1 Cape Tourville lighthouse walk where you might spot migrating whales. Optional beach walks and Honeymoon Bay exploration are available. The day ends at beachfront accommodation in Bicheno with dinner at the hotel pub.

- Day 6
Bicheno to St Helens
Starting at 9:30am, you'll visit East Coast Nature World wildlife sanctuary to see Tasmanian Devils, Wombats, Wallabies, Forester Kangaroos, Spotted Quolls, and reptiles. You'll hand-feed some residents and watch the Tassie Devil feeding before morning tea at the cafe. Next is Bicheno village to check out the Blowhole, then lunch at the Lobster Shack overlooking the Gulch. Traveling north along the east coast, you'll stop at Ironhouse Brewery for a guided tour and tasting of craft beers, whiskeys, spirits, and wines. You'll end the day at Tasman Holiday Park in St Helens with a free evening to explore the fishing town.

St Helens to Launceston
At 9:00am you're heading up the coast to Bay of Fires, one of the world's most beautiful beaches according to Lonely Planet. An optional swim in clear waters at Binalong Bay is available, then you'll travel inland to Pyengana dairy country for cheese tasting at Pyengana Dairy Farmgate. St Columba Falls State Reserve has a short Grade 1 walk (20 minutes, 1km return) through fern forest to see Tasmania's highest waterfall at 90m+. Lunch is at the quirky Pub In The Paddock where you can meet Priscilla the beer-guzzling pig. After that, Bridestowe Lavender Estate showcases striking lavender fields and lavender ice cream. You'll travel toward Launceston, the heart of the Tamar Valley wine region, with dinner at the hotel restaurant.

Launceston
This is a recovery day in Tasmania's UNESCO gastronomy region focused on relaxation and local food. At Cataract Gorge, a local favorite, you can ride the single-span chairlift, stroll the grounds with peacocks and native wildlife, or grab morning tea at the cafe. Crossing the distinctive white Batman Bridge brings you to Beauty Point where you'll visit either Seahorse World or Platypus House for close encounters with these unique creatures. You'll travel through Beaconsfield gold mining town, then into the Tamar Valley wine region for lunch and wine tasting from cool climate vineyards. Back at the hotel you'll have free time to refresh and explore Launceston city center, then your evening is free to dine wherever you'd like.
