Zagreb
You'll arrive in Zagreb and transfer to your hotel. After settling in, there's a welcome drink waiting, then the rest of the day is yours to relax however you'd like. Dinner happens at the hotel this evening.

- Day 2
Zagreb to Opatija
Following breakfast, you'll take a guided walking tour through Zagreb's historic Upper Town, where you'll see St. Mark's Church with its distinctive colorful tiled roof, Parliament, and the Government Palace. From there, you'll drive to Opatija, a coastal town known for its history as a spa resort. You'll have dinner there and stay the night.

- Day 3
Istria
This morning brings a visit to Pula's Roman Colosseum, which dates back 2000 years. Next you'll head to Rovinj on the coast where you'll have time to wander the narrow streets and check out the colorful buildings. Later, you'll drive up to Motovun in the hills for a truffle tasting experience. After that, it's back to Opatija for the night.

- Day 4
Opatija to Plitvice Lakes
You'll spend the day at Plitvice Lakes National Park, a UNESCO-protected site with 16 interconnected lakes connected by waterfalls. There's a boat ride across the Emerald Green Lake (Kozjak), then about 3 hours of walking through the park to see the turquoise waters and natural surroundings. Dinner and overnight stay are in the Plitvice area.

- Day 5
Plitvice Lakes to Zadar to Split
After breakfast, you'll drive along the scenic coast to Zadar. There you'll check out the Roman Forum from the 1st century and St. Donatus Church dating to the 9th century. You'll also experience the Zadar Sea Organs, a unique musical installation that the Adriatic Sea powers. Then you'll visit a local winery for Dalmatian wine tasting with Croatian-style tapas. Later you'll continue to Split for a two-night stay.

- Day 6
Split and Trogir
You'll explore Split's layered past, starting with 18th-century houses built into ancient Roman walls. You'll see Diocletian's Palace, a UNESCO-listed site from the 4th century. Then you'll travel to Trogir, another UNESCO town with 2,300 years of continuous history influenced by Greek, Roman, and Venetian cultures. Walk through its palaces, churches, and towers, including a fortress on a small island. Dinner is traditional Dalmatian food at Tragos Restaurant in Trogir before heading back to Split.

Split to Ston to Dubrovnik
You'll drive toward Dubrovnik with a stop near Ston to visit a local winery. There you'll taste Plavac Mali wine (related to Zinfandel) and learn about the family's winemaking history going back generations. You'll see the wine-making process and get a complimentary snack included. After that, you'll continue on to Dubrovnik, where dinner and the evening are at your hotel.

- Day 8
Dubrovnik
You'll explore Dubrovnik's medieval old city, which was finished in the 13th century and remains in great condition today. You'll walk the medieval ramparts surrounding the old town, going through one of two gates and crossing a stone bridge. You'll see the statue of St. Blaise, the city's patron saint. Then you'll walk down Stadrun, the main stone-paved promenade with buildings and cafes lining both sides. The rest of the day is free to wander the cobblestone streets, check out museums, or take in Adriatic Sea views.
