Itinerary
- Day 1
Bangkok to Kanchanaburi
Your day starts with a hotel pickup in Bangkok, then you'll head out to Samut Songkram Province to see the Maeklong Railway Market where trains actually roll right through the market stalls. After that, you're taking a private boat through the canals to reach Damnoensaduak Floating Market. From there, you'll continue on to Kanchanaburi Province to check out the Bridge over the River Kwai and the War Museum. Next comes a train ride on the Death Railway with the Kwai River running alongside, you'll cross a wooden bridge, and stop at Sai Yok Noi Waterfall. You'll have Thai lunch somewhere along the way and then settle into your hotel for the evening.

Kanchanaburi to Ayutthaya
After breakfast at your hotel, you're traveling to Nong Khao village, about 12 kilometers from Kanchanaburi, to experience what rural Thai life looks like. You'll ride around the village in an E-Taen Farmer truck, passing through rice paddies and fan palm trees, and you'll participate in a cultural ritual for the Rice Goddess. Then you can shop for authentic products made in the village. Later you'll head north to Ayutthaya with lunch at a local restaurant during the drive. Once you arrive, you'll check in at your hotel and have the rest of the day free to do whatever you want.

Landmarks/POIs Nong Khao Village - Day 3
Ayutthaya
An expert guide will take you around Ayutthaya's ancient temples. You'll start at Wat Yai Chai Mong Kol with its large pagoda and sacred Buddha image. Then you'll go to Wat Mahathat, one of the oldest temples in Ayutthaya where there's a famous Buddha head that's been wrapped up in tree roots over the years. After that, Wat Phra Si Sanphet comes next, the main royal temple with three restored chedis that hold ashes of old Ayutthaya kings. Lunch happens at a local restaurant partway through, and then you'll transfer back to Bangkok.
