Day 1
Chihuahua
You'll be picked up at Chihuahua International Airport and taken to your hotel. If you land before 2:00 PM, there's an option to take a panoramic tour around the city, so you can get your bearings right away or just head to your room and settle in.

Day 2
Chihuahua to Creel
Heading out at 7:30 AM for the drive to Creel, a charming mountain town. After you drop your bags at the hotel, you'll see Lake Arareko, visit the San Ignacio Mission, and walk through the Valley of the Mushrooms and Frogs. There's also time to check out an inhabited cave before heading back for dinner.

Day 3
Creel to Barrancas
After breakfast, you'll go to the Ferromex station in Creel and board a tourist class train to Divisadero Barrancas. From there, a short transfer takes you to your hotel in Barrancas. The afternoon includes a guided walk along the scenic overlooks so you can take in the views of the canyons.

Barrancas to Chihuahua

A unique experience of seeing the most quaint and beautiful colonial towns in Mexico. The best part was that I was the only one in the tour accompanied by Mr. Luis who was the guide and the driver in a brand new car I mean zero miles. Mr Luis is a wonderful gentleman who is a knowledgeable and cordial. He took time and care to show me everything .and stayed beyond his working hours to help me see the places and enjoy the events. I truly enjoyed my time in Mexico. I believe Mr. Luis made it all possible and I thank him for that.

Locations were excellent. Gabriella spent alot of time with me at age 75, traveling with 60 year old and 30 years old Mexicali men. She had to first speak Spanish, then English. She also took me where I was interested - political protests, Aztec Temple Mexico City. She changed schedule for me as late in afternoons I was worn out. Hotel Royal and Morelia had no English speaking staff most of the time. Hotel Royal, both rooms had mattress deflated in middle. I had trouble figuring 20 % tip based on $1800 tour cost using ATM. Told her I'd send to her when I returned home. My bank advised me against Western Union or some such device saying easily rigged. She was excellent for me, though.

Payment information
- For any tour departing before February 8th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after February 8th, 2026, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with Receptivo Aborigen Tours. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 95 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and Receptivo Aborigen Tours will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
