Lake Manyara National Park
Your safari kicks off with a game drive through Lake Manyara National Park, where you'll move through acacia woodlands and water forests looking for wildlife. Baboons, giraffes, and elephants are common sightings here, and you might catch sight of impalas or the region's famous tree-climbing lions if luck's on your side. After spending the day watching animals, you'll head to Marera Valley Lodge for dinner and settle in for the night.

Ngorongoro Crater
An early breakfast gets you ready before you descend into Ngorongoro Crater along a steep, narrow road. The massive volcanic caldera works as a natural enclosure for wildlife, so your chances of seeing the Big Five (lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard) are solid. You'll also spot warthogs, wildebeest, zebras, hippos, and hyenas throughout the day. Lunch happens in the crater itself as a picnic, then you make the drive back up and return to Marera Valley Lodge by afternoon.

Tarangire National Park to Arusha
Tarangire National Park is your destination for an extensive game drive across bush savannah, seasonal swamps, and landscapes dotted with giant baobab trees. Elephants are particularly common here, and you'll find Masai giraffes, gazelles, antelopes, buffaloes, lions, and leopards roaming around. The park also has over 500 bird species if you're interested in birding. After your safari wraps up, you'll drive back to Arusha for the end of your trip.
