  1. Day 1

    Paris

    Your flights need to land by 2:30 pm so you can board the ship at 5 pm. You've got a few hours to kill in Paris before heading to the Seine, so grab a croissant and coffee at a sidewalk café, wander through some shops, or just walk around the streets. It's a nice way to ease into the trip.

  2. Day 2

    Conflans

    You have several options for exploring Paris today. Take a bike tour through the city, do a food and cultural tour to learn about French culinary traditions, or go with a guided sightseeing tour of the main attractions. After lunch, you can either join an optional trip to the Palace of Versailles or stick around Paris on your own to wander and discover what interests you.

    Vernon

    Your Adventure Host offers multiple choices for the morning. Take an e-bike tour out to Château de Maisons-Lafitte with a special snack included, visit Chantilly Castle to make Chantilly cream, follow Van Gogh's path with a guided tour of Auvers-sur-Oise, or tour Château de Malmaison where Napoleon lived. The ship sails to Vernon in the afternoon, and you'll have live entertainment onboard after dinner.

    Start your morning in Vernon with options like guided kayaking, a tour of Monet's home and gardens at Giverny, or a walking tour through Vernon's medieval streets. During lunch on the ship, you'll have crêpes and watch a pastry demonstration. The afternoon brings you to Les Andelys where you can hike up to Château Gaillard, tour Château de La Roche-Guyon with local product tastings, or take a walking tour that includes Saint Sauveur's Church. That evening the ship sails to Rouen with entertainment onboard.

Take a bike tour around the city or walk through the medieval quarter with a guide who'll show you the 16th-century Astronomical Clock and Notre-Dame Cathedral. Your afternoon is free, so head out on your own to check out whatever catches your interest.

The ship stays overnight in Le Havre.

You can cycle through the city to quartier Saint François, head to Fécamp to tour the Palais Bénédictine liquor distillery and try a cocktail workshop, or take a guided tour of Le Havre's modern architecture that was rebuilt by Auguste Perret. The afternoon is yours to explore the city or take an optional excursion to Honfleur.

    We would like to thank our Statesman Attendee that took care of all our needs in our room 107. He was friendly and did an amazing job, Marisio our waiter served us with the highest respect and friendliness. Over all Avalon have very good staff and always a smile- nothing too much trouble. The ship was so clean, food was spectacular. We had a surprise group of singers Gwen and Charles who brought great entertainment. The other entertainer was amazing. Loved the top deck BBQ. We met lots of new friends aboard. Thank you Avalon for a trip well executed.

    ship was excellent, food and drinks were great, adventures perfectly organized,all crew members were extremely friendly and helpful. One person was outstanding and needs to be mentioned: our cruise director GAYLE. She was just outstanding and the best we ever experienced.
