Itinerary
- Day 1
Amsterdam
You'll have the full day to explore Amsterdam on your own schedule. Wander the streets, check out neighborhoods that interest you, grab lunch where it looks good, and get a feel for the city without any structured activities.
- Day 2
Amsterdam to Nijmegen
Start with a guided canal cruise, where you'll float past the historic Golden Age homes that line the waterways. From there, head to Keukenhof gardens to see the tulips and bulbs in full display. Later in the afternoon, you'll board your river cruise ship for an overnight journey heading toward Nijmegen.

Nijmegen
You have three options for the day. Bike through the Ooijpolder Nature Reserve to spot wildlife and birds, take a guided tour of Nijmegen to see the ancient Roman ruins, or visit the Airborne Museum of Hartenstein to learn about WWII history. After you finish, the ship sails overnight to Antwerp.

There's a botany and nature lecture while you sail. Later, pick between biking around the city, a guided tour of Antwerp including the Grote Markt and Cathedral of Our Lady, or heading to the Arboretum Kalmthout botanical gardens. You'll have dinner and live entertainment before the overnight cruise to Namur.

You can take a walking tour of the Botanical Garden and Greenhouses followed by a stroll through Liège's historical center, or join a guided tour of the city's ancient quarters and alleys while trying authentic Liège waffles. As dinner service happens, you'll sail toward Maastricht.

Power walk through Maastricht with your Adventure Host, explore Hoge Kempen National Park and visit the Research Center Ecotron to learn about climate change, or discover the university town with its cathedrals, historic buildings, and cobblestoned streets. After, you'll enjoy live entertainment before the evening cruise to Brussels.

Another botany and nature lecture happens while sailing. Then select from biking to Brussels' aquaculture farm, taking a do-it-yourself chocolate workshop, or going on a guided tour of Brussels to see the Town Hall and explore the Lower Town's bars, cafés, and shops.
