Itinerary
- Day 1
Iquitos to Nauta
You'll arrive in Iquitos and get picked up for a private drive to Nauta port on the Marañon River. Once on board the Delfin cruise vessel, settle into your suite and attend an orientation with happy hour while taking in the views. In the late afternoon, head out by skiff to explore Pahuachiro and Nauta Caño creek, where you'll spot monkeys, birds, dolphins, caimans, and sloths. By evening you'll catch your first Amazon sunset from the water.

Pacaya Samiria National Reserve
Start early to check out Las Palmas in the Pacaya Samiria National Reserve, looking for birds, parrots, and three-toed sloths in the morning light. From there, cruise through the Yanayacu and Pucate Rivers to see pink dolphins, then visit the Amazon Natural Park for a canopy walkway experience that takes you 25+ meters up into the rainforest. After dinner back on board, your guides give a shamanism lecture.

Yanayaquillo and Pianha Creek
This day focuses on the protected Pacaya Samiria National Reserve, where you'll cruise through creeks and lagoons and stop at a dolphin feeding spot. Try your hand at piranha fishing, then paddle by kayak or skiff through Pianha Creek to spot monkeys, birds, and other wildlife in the pristine rainforest. Later in the evening, take a night nature walk to see what comes out after dark.

Nauta to Iquitos
You'll say goodbye to the Delfin crew at Nauta port, then travel about 95 kilometers by private vehicle on a paved road back to Iquitos. Along the way, stop at the Amazon Forever Rescue and Rehabilitation Center to see baby manatees and learn about endangered river mammals in the area. After that, head to the airport for check-in and your return flight to Lima.
