Your guide will show you the impressive garuda statue (a mythical bird figure) that's now in the National Museum collection. I just had an amazing trip to Siem Reap, a dream come true for so long. I was there for a business trip and managed to squeeze in two free days to explore. Day one blew me away with Angkor Wat – so grand and majestic! The nearby temples were just as stunning, perfectly preserved with nature. On day two, I visited a floating village near Tonle Sap. It was peaceful and unique with houses on stilts, and the locals, especially the kids, were so friendly. I wrapped up with some souvenir shopping at an art center, then hit the pub street for a bit of nightlife. FYI: Before the trip, planning was a bit chaotic – I booked last minute, just about a week before, and couldn’t find any tour. Luckily, I went with this operator who let me customize everything. Big shoutout to Kurt, my consultant. He was super quick with a detailed PDF itinerary (hotels, tips, etc.) and answered all my questions. Payment was a hassle right up to the last minute, but Kurt was patient and flexible, which I really appreciated. Throughout the trip, we stayed in touch via WhatsApp – he updated me on pickups, checked if everything was okay, and even asked if I wanted extra stops. My trip went smoothly largely thanks to Kurt!!! Also, props to my guide Phanny – super professional, fluent in English, and passionate about Cambodian history and culture. Our driver, Tan, was also very friendly and drove safely. Especially, he was always ready with a cold towel after every stop, a lifesaver in the March heat. All in all, this operator, especially Kurt, made my Siem Reap dream come true. Highly recommend them!

If you’re looking to dive headfirst into the best of Vietnam and Cambodia, this tour is your golden ticket. It’s a whirlwind of vibrant cities, jaw-dropping landscapes, and cultural gems, all rolled into 13 days that fly by in the best way possible. Kicking off in Hanoi, you’re instantly swept into the energy of Vietnam - think bustling streets and killer street food. From there, it’s Ninh Binh’s serene rivers, an overnight cruise on Halong Bay (morning Tai Chi on deck? Yes, please!), and the lantern-lit charm of Hoi An. Then you jet to Cambodia, where Siem Reap’s ancient temples - like Angkor Wat - leave you speechless. The Mekong Delta day trip was a personal fave - cruising the waterways and snacking on fresh coconut candy felt like a slice of real life down there. The pace is spot-on: enough action to keep you hooked, but with breathing room to soak it all in. Pro tip: pack light, bring your stretchy pants for the food, and charge your camera - this one’s a keeper.

A Memorable Family Adventure with Travel Sense Asia Our family just returned from an unforgettable 13-day trip through Vietnam and Cambodia, and I can't recommend Travel Sense Asia enough! From the very beginning, we were impressed by the professionalism and personalized service, especially from Kurt. He was incredibly responsive, always providing thoughtful recommendations and making sure our trip was tailored to our needs. We traveled with our 8-year-old son, so we were especially focused on finding activities that would be engaging for him while also offering an authentic cultural experience. Ninh Binh was one of the highlights of the trip—exploring the stunning landscapes with a peaceful boat ride through the limestone karsts and lush greenery was a truly magical experience. It felt like stepping into another world, and our son loved the adventure. The Halong Bay overnight cruise was another memorable experience. Waking up to the misty waters and towering rock formations was beyond breathtaking. The cruise was well-organized, and we had time to explore the caves and islands, with plenty of activities to keep our son entertained. Our time in Mekong Delta was equally special. We enjoyed a boat ride through the floating markets and got to see firsthand how people live on the water. It was a fun and eye-opening experience for the whole family, and our son got to interact with local children, which was an amazing way for him to learn about the culture.
