Bozeman
You'll arrive in Bozeman and take a casual walk along Main Street to get the feel for this Rocky Mountain town. The street has a nice local vibe that gives you a good sense of the place. Later in the evening, you'll head to Copper Restaurant for a welcome dinner with wine where you can meet your fellow travelers and settle in.

Bozeman
Today you have flexibility with Insight Choice to explore Bozeman on your own schedule. One option is a guided walking tour of historic Main Street where you'll hear stories about the gold rush era and learn about the local founders who shaped the town. If you prefer something different, the Museum of the Rockies has an impressive dinosaur fossil collection including a fully mounted Montana Tyrannosaurus rex skeleton that's worth the time.

Bozeman to West Yellowstone
You'll travel from Bozeman toward West Yellowstone, heading into Yellowstone National Park. Along the way, you'll stop at Gibbon Falls to see the river drop over ancient volcanic rock. After that, you'll check out Norris Geyser Basin, which has the park's most active thermal area with acidic springs, steam vents, and various geysers all in one concentrated spot.

Yellowstone National Park
You'll join Adam Brubaker, a naturalist and photographer, for a wildlife tracking adventure where you'll look for wolves, bison, and other animals across Yellowstone. Later, you'll hike the 2.2-mile Mammoth Terraces Trail past historic hot spring terraces with views across the landscape. Then you'll walk through Fort Yellowstone to see about 35 remaining buildings from the 1890s-1900s, including the Mail Carrier's Cabin.

Yellowstone National Park
You'll head to the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone where the river has cut a deep chasm over time. From Artist Point, you can view the Lower Falls framed by the colored volcanic walls. In the afternoon, you'll meet with Charles Yarlott, Jr., a Crow storyteller, who'll talk about his people's ancestral connection to this land and share traditions around horsemanship and Crow culture.

Yellowstone National Park
You'll hike the Midway Geyser Loop on boardwalks, passing the Grand Prismatic Spring, which is Yellowstone's largest hot spring, along with Turquoise Pool and Opal Pool. From there, you'll head to Old Faithful where several hiking options are available, ranging from under a mile to 3.5 miles, each passing different thermal features, geysers, and colorful hot spring pools.

Grand Teton National Park to Jackson Hole
You'll travel to Grand Teton National Park where mountain peaks rise sharply from the valley floor. Wildlife in the area includes grizzly bears, bald eagles, moose, bison, and elk, so you'll have good chances to spot them. Before heading out, you'll have a private lunch at the National Museum of Wildlife Art's restaurant with views of the National Elk Refuge, then transfer to Jackson Hole Airport for a 2:00 PM departure.
