Itinerary
- Day 1
Stone Town
You'll arrive and get transferred from the airport straight to Stone Town, where you can settle into your hotel and get oriented. That evening, you'll have a traditional Swahili dinner in Stone Town, which gives you a chance to try local flavors and get a feel for the place right away.

Landmarks Stone Town - Day 2
Spice Tour - Kidichi Bath
Head out at 9:00am for Nakupenda sandbank. By 2:00pm you'll join the Spice Tour to see and taste tropical fruits and spices that grow here on the island, and you'll visit Kidichi Bath, built back in 1850 by the Sultan. After that, head back to town for dinner and an overnight stay.

Safari Blue
At 9:00am you board a traditional dhow and sail from Fumba through Menai Bay, where there's a good chance to spot dolphins. You'll snorkel at Kwale sandbank to check out the coral reefs, then sit down to a seafood barbecue with grilled fish, lobster, calamari, and coconut rice. Later, you'll relax at a natural lagoon before transferring to Nungwi beach up in northern Zanzibar.

Kizimkazi Dolphin Excursion
In the afternoon you head to Kizimkazi fishing village in southern Zanzibar, known for bottle-nosed and Humpback dolphins. A short boat trip gets you out to spot them, and if conditions are right, you might get to swim near them. The afternoon timing works well because fewer people are around then, which keeps the dolphins from getting stressed.

Stone Town Historical Tour
This morning involves a walking tour through Stone Town to explore its long history. You'll walk through the House of Wonders and the Palace Museum, check out the Arab Fort, see the busy market with its winding alleyways and ornately carved doors, and pass by two cathedrals and lots of mosques scattered throughout.

Jozani Forest
You'll head out to spice and fruit plantations near Stone Town where your guide explains how spices and herbs are grown organically and used in medicine, cosmetics, and cooking. Lunch is at your guide's home so you can taste the fresh spices and fruits directly. After that, you'll go to Jozani Forest and the national park to see rare Red Colobus Monkeys, and there's an optional boardwalk through the Mangrove Ecosystem. Then you're transferred back to your beach resort.

Departure
You'll have a half day to either relax at the beach or take a short Stone Town tour with shopping in the afternoon if you prefer. By late afternoon you'll head back to your accommodation, and from there you'll transfer to the airport for your departure.
