    Belgrade

    Your trip starts when you arrive in Belgrade. Head to Belgrade Fortress first, where you'll get a sense of the city's strategic importance over the centuries. From there, make your way to the Nikola Tesla Museum to learn about the inventor's incredible work and contributions to science. After settling into your accommodation, you'll have your first evening in the capital to rest up for the days ahead.

  2. Day 2

    Belgrade

    This morning, check out the National Museum of Serbia where you'll find ancient artifacts and art collections spanning different periods. Later, walk through Belgrade's historical center and stop by Saint Sava Church, one of the largest Orthodox churches in the world at roughly 79,000 square feet. The scale of the building itself is worth taking time to appreciate.

    Belgrade to Pozarevac

    You'll head east to Pozarevac to see two significant archaeological locations. Start with Smederevo Fortress, a 15th-century stronghold that shows the military architecture of its era. After that, travel to Viminacium Archaeological Park where you can walk through the remains of an ancient Roman city and see how people lived centuries ago.

    Pozarevac
