    Visegrad

    Your Serbian cultural journey begins at Visegrad, where you'll check out the UNESCO-listed bridge that's central to the region's history. After that, you'll see Kamengrad tourist attraction before heading to Zlatibor for the night. The drive gives you a good sense of the landscape you'll be exploring over the next couple weeks.

    Zlatibor

    Based in Zlatibor, this day takes you through several of the region's top attractions. You'll walk through Stopica cave, then head to Sirogojno ethno village to see traditional architecture and crafts. Later, you can visit Gostilje waterfall, and if you're up for it, there's the zipline at Ljubis for some adventure. Everything wraps up back at your Zlatibor accommodation.

    Zlatibor to Novi Pazar

    Today you're traveling from Zlatibor toward Novi Pazar, but there's plenty to stop and see along the way. Mileseva monastery sits on your route, and then you'll pass through the Uvac Molitva viewpoint with its scenic river views. By evening you'll be settled into your Novi Pazar accommodation.

  4. Day 4

    Novi Pazar

    This day focuses on medieval Serbian heritage around Novi Pazar. You'll visit four UNESCO sites: Durdevi Stupovi monastery, Sopocani monastery, St Peter and Paul church in Ras, and Stari Ras fortress. It's a lot to pack in, but these are important historical spots. You'll return to Novi Pazar for the night.

    Nis

    Nis has several historically important spots worth your time. Start with the Mediana archaeological site to see what's been preserved there.
