Great tour guide & driver, Ollie, who suggested varied options for dinners and always made sure we were provisioned for sunsets viewing. There are quite long distances, but breaks every two hours or so made it very comfortable. Highlights were the Pinnacles, Kalbarri, Monkey Mia and snorkelling at Coral Bay. Almost all of our small group of 7 opted for the swim with whale sharks at Ningaloo - truly a bucket list item. The roads are good, and the WA parks infrastructure is excellent. Good value tour with 3-4 star comfortable accomodations (though we wouldn’t have minded paying a bit more for 4 star accom at Ningaloo)Show more

Jason, our guide, was a balance of fun, knowledge, great activities and suggestions. It was my first tour in over 10 years and if I had known what an amazing job Jason, Tara, and the rest of the crew at Via does each and every day - well I would have been on a tour with them sooner! Through the recent floods, storms and re-routing…..the team had it covered. We felt safe and taken care of. We had a brilliant group of people; it felt like we were all traveling with friends. This trip doesn't include the Barrier Reef as we do this on the Brisbane to Cairns tour which connects to this tour, however we could certainly arrange an additional day or two before of after the trip so you could experience the fabulous Barrier Reef! Another option that would include the Barrier Reef is to join the trip in Brisbane for either the 10 day tour including the Daintree or the 7 day tour ending in Cairns.

We don't visit the Great Barrier Reef on this trip as this is an extension of our tour from Brisbane to Cairns and we visit the reef on that section of the trip. We would be happy to assist with pre or post accommodation in Cairns and booking you on the reef trip with our preferred operator.
