    Siem Reap

    Your driver and guide will pick you up at Siem Reap Angkor International Airport and take you to your hotel by private transfer. During the drive, they'll fill you in on local culture and how daily life works in Siem Reap. Once you've checked in, the rest of the day is free for you to rest or wander around town however you like.

  2. Day 2

    Siem Reap

    After breakfast at your hotel, head to the Roluos Group temples, which was Angkor's first capital and home to some of the region's oldest temples. Later you'll board a boat and cruise Tonle Sap Lake to see Kampong Phluk Floating Village with its traditional stilt houses. Back in the city, walk through Wat Preah Prom Rath pagoda and stop at Artisans Angkor workshop. After lunch, spend the afternoon relaxing in Royal Residence Park and the Angkor Botanical Garden before heading back to your hotel.

  3. Day 3

    Siem Reap

    Leave early to catch sunrise at Angkor Wat in the Archaeological Park, then spend time looking at the temple's detailed carvings and architecture. You'll return to your hotel for breakfast and some rest, then continue exploring the South Gate of Angkor Thom, Bayon Temple, Baphuon, Phimeanakas, and the ceremonial terraces. During the afternoon, check out Ta Nei jungle temple and Ta Prohm (the Tomb Raider Temple), then finish with Banteay Kdei and Srah Srang before coming back to your hotel.

    Siem Reap

    After eating breakfast, head to temples on Siem Reap's outskirts starting with Banteay Samre, then move on to Banteay Srei Temple, known for its pink sandstone and detailed carvings. You'll visit a traditional local village to get a sense of authentic life in the Angkor region. From there, travel through the Angkor Grand Circle stopping at Preah Khan, Neak Pean island temple, and Ta Som with its large tree. The day finishes as you watch the sunset from Pre Rup Temple over the jungle and rice fields.

  5. Day 5

    Siem Reap to Preah Vihear

    Depart Siem Reap for Preah Vihear Province and visit Beng Mealea Temple, a 12th-century structure covered by jungle with tree roots spreading through the stone walls. Continue to Koh Ker Temple Group, the 10th-century Khmer capital hidden in the jungle. Walk through Prasat Thom (Cambodia's tallest pyramid temple with seven levels), Prasat Pram, and Prasat Linga. Later, head northwest to Preah Vihear Temple sitting high on a mountain near the Thai border where you'll get views across both Cambodia and Thailand.

    Preah Vihear to Ratanakiri

    Travel from Preah Vihear toward Ratanakiri Province in the northeast, an area known for indigenous communities and nature-focused tourism. Stop at Preah Nimit Waterfall, one of the world's widest waterfalls at 10 km across where the Mekong drops 21 meters at the Cambodia-Laos border. Continue through Stung Treng City for lunch, then drive through green forests and fruit plantations to reach Banlung, Ratanakiri's main town. You'll arrive in late afternoon, check in, and have the evening free.

    Mondulkiri

    Meet your guide at a point in Sen Monorom, then trek from a hilltop into the jungle to reach Mondulkiri Community's Jungle Lodge. Your guide shares how the community protects the environment and elephants. You'll meet the elephants and their handlers, learning about their behavior and past. After a picnic lunch in the jungle, trek to a waterfall for swimming, then help wash the elephants for a hands-on experience. Return to Sen Monorom by late afternoon.

Stop at Wat Rokar Kondal Chas, a quiet Buddhist temple, then arrive in Kratie City for lunch. Later, go up Phnom Sambok Mountain, a peaceful Buddhist pilgrimage site with views over the Mekong River. At the Mekong port, take a boat to see Irrawaddy freshwater dolphins in their natural conservation area and watch the sunset over the river before returning to your hotel.

  • Payment information
    • For any tour departing before January 21st, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after January 21st, 2026, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with About Cambodia Travel & Tours. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 35 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
