My husband and I had a very enjoyable trip with this partly guided tour arranged by Halong Tours Bookings in Hanoi through Tourradar. The whole tour was well organized and ran without a hitch. We are very thankful to our local travel agent in Halong Tours, Tammy, who did a wonderful job in communicating with us, setting out our itinerary, arranging transport from airports, pick ups for tours in each city and joining some guided tours. They all ran smoothly and on time. Most of the tour guides were knowledgeable and spoke good English and were helpful to us seniors. The hotels we stayed in, mostly rated as 3 star, were very clean, comfortable and central to shops or eating places or a short distance away and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. We were given the option to upgrade our accommodation in a few of the cities, but we found that the ones allocated were very comfortable. We found that the cruise boat in Halong Bay was a bit old, but comfortable, and the crew were very friendly. But unfortunately the weather was rather cold and became slight drizzly which put a damper on some of the activities from the boat. On our free days I was able to do some research and we did some sightseeing in the cities. Overall, we had a wonderful and memorable trip, thanks to Tammy for her experience and dedication in organizing this tour for us which went smoothlywithout a hitch.

I did the 14 day Vietnam and Cambodia combination tour. Tammy was outstanding with her organisation of the two weeks, taking care of all arrangement from hotels, internal flights, drivers, day tours and guides. She also helped customise the stay for some extra nights in places of interest. The team were also available at short notice to answer any questions I had. I can highly recommend this zero-hassle tour. Thank you Tammy and team.

Never done a guided tour, so went with trepidation having organised trips for myself and groups for 50+ yrs. It was excellent, from the moment of pickup at Hanoi to Phnom Penh, early departure, we had a great time. Communications and itinerary details I could only give first class to. We knew where we had to be, at what time and what to expect each and every day, even if we put our own alternatives in. The hotels we had, basic, I had few comments in, apart from 1 that was just beyond the limit, and 1 that decided our room was faulty but rather than informing Halong they dealt with themselves, badly. Kelvin was horrified, but we had sorted ourselves out when he got to find out, but instantly gave us a refund, no stress.in either case as sorted either by Kelvin, or ourselves.. The organised trips had us entertained, and experiencing local life. The highlight had to be Halong Bay 1 night boat trip, the crew certainly knew their jobs and the attitude and food was top notch. I know, a gushing review, but the whole thing was so easy and enjoyable. Thank you Kelvin and Halong for the good job.
