Itinerary
- Day 1
Hanoi
A driver meets you at Noi Bai International Airport and takes you to your hotel in Hanoi. After checking in, the day is open for whatever you want to do. If your flight gets in early enough, the Old Quarter is right there with 36 winding streets full of Vietnamese architecture, small parks, and street food vendors. It's the kind of place where you can just walk around and take it all in.

Hanoi to Ha Long Bay
You'll get picked up from your hotel in Hanoi's Old Quarter and driven to Tuan Chau Marina where your cruise departs. The boat heads out into Ha Long Bay to hit some major spots like Surprising Cave and Titop Island, where you can swim and climb around. Late afternoon brings a cooking class and sunset party on deck, then dinner on the sundeck if the weather cooperates. After dark you can hang out on the deck, grab drinks at the Sky Bar, or try squid fishing if that sounds fun.

Ha Long Bay to Hanoi
Breakfast happens early on the boat as you cruise toward the Natural Preservation Area. From there you'll kayak through Luon Cave, and there are monkeys hanging around on the cliffs to watch for. After lunch back on the ship and paying any remaining bills, the boat reaches Tuan Chau Marina around mid-morning. Your driver takes you back to the Old Quarter hotel, arriving by 3pm. The rest of the day is free to explore on your own.

Hanoi to Hoi An
You've got the morning to walk around Hanoi's Old Quarter however you like. By noon you need to check out and head to the domestic airport for your flight to Da Nang. Someone picks you up there and drives you to your hotel in Hoi An. Once you arrive, the rest of the day is yours to settle in and look around.

Hoi An
Your entire day in Hoi An is completely free. Wander the ancient town on your own schedule, or if you'd rather have something organized, Halong Tours Booking can arrange extra tours for you.

After breakfast at your hotel, you have free time before your transfer to the airport. You'll fly south to Ho Chi Minh City and get picked up for a drive to your hotel in the main tourist area. The rest of the day is open for checking into your room and getting oriented with the city.

Ho Chi Minh City is yours to explore all day long at whatever pace you want. If you'd like organized activities, optional excursions are available through your hotel or tour operator.

Mekong Delta
Early morning you leave Ho Chi Minh City heading to My Tho on the Mekong River's western side. First stop is the historic Vinh Trang Pagoda, then you board a traditional sampan and drift past four islands named Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix, and Tortoise. Landing on Unicorn Island, you walk through rural lanes, see orchards, try tropical fruits, and listen to local folk music. The tour includes visits to fruit plantations, hand-rowing sampans through Thoi Son canal, and checking out family businesses like a honey farm where you can taste honey tea and coconut candy. After lunch at a local spot, an afternoon cycling trip takes you around Tan Thach village to meet people and see how folks live in the Delta. You're back in Ho Chi Minh City by late afternoon.

You'll take a bus from Ho Chi Minh City to Phnom Penh, which takes around 7 hours. Once you arrive, check in at your hotel and the day is free for you to settle in and look around the city.

You have the full day free in Phnom Penh. If you want to see the city's important historical sites, museums, cultural landmarks, and local markets, you can arrange an optional tour.

A bus takes you from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap, a journey of about 5 to 5.5 hours. When you get there, a driver picks you up and takes you to your hotel to check in. The rest of the day is yours to do as you please.

Angkor Temples
After hotel breakfast, you're ready to go by 8am to see the Angkor Temple complex. The morning covers Angkor Thom Area including the South Gate, Bayon Temple, Baphuon Temple, Phimean Akas Temple, the Elephants Terrace, and Leper King Terrace. Then you head to Ta Prom Temple, break for lunch, and spend the afternoon at Angkor Wat, the massive 9th-13th century temple that ranks among the world's greatest architectural works. Before the day ends, you visit Bakheng Hill for views across the temple grounds.
