I chose this tour as it included everywhere I wanted to go & it wasn't the cheapest!!!! Overall I was disappointed with the tour as I got no information on places we were passing through, history or culture from the driver. I had to question why we were not visiting places as per the itinerary because I was getting no information along the way. I tried asking a few questions but the driver had to google translate so I gave up asking. The guides in Fes and Volubilis were fantastis and so informative. A few items on the itinerary were not as described: 1.Meknes, my driver said the city was closed to tourists since the earthquake, I hadn't seen anything about this online and even tried booking tickets and there was no problem. 2. Tangier, city tour supposed to be included, my driver said it was not so I saw very little of Tangier as we arrived after 4pm & left at 9am. Asilah, on the itinerary, but driver said not included and too far off the route to drive, he eventually agreed to go there & to be honest it was a highlight of my trip. Marrakech, driver said early start back to Marrakech not on the itinerary. He wanted to leave Essaouira at 1pm to go straight to the airport. I emailed the company & he then agreed to leave at 9am. We were in Marrakech at 12pm and had all the main sights done by 2.30pm. Plenty of time for my 7pm flight. I expected a better service for such a good sounding tour

Aissa was an amazing tour guide. He is passionate about his culture + very approachable to ask any questions about Islamic religion & Moroccan culture. hassan also explains everything in an easy way. The tour is well planned but open to change depending on the tour group, Will definitely recommend to a friend.

If you're looking for an interesting and informative trip. where every day is different, then this one's for you. The choice of accommodation was very good and definitely enhanced the group's overall experience, Living out of a suitcase isn't everyone's idea of fun but is necessary in order to visit the wide variety of sites across a large area. I'd recommend this trip to anyone wanting a moderately priced holiday in a culturally diverse country which is relatively close to the UK. Thank you, tour operator.

What a fabulous trip, Very well planned and times, lots to see and do, very active and varied. Be careful when going in August as the heat was,at times, a little too much, especially when exploring the cities and Volubilis, We stayed after the trip ended and took a trip to the Ouzoud waterfall, which would be a lovely addition to the trip.

A great trip with a combination of the madness of Casablanca and the tranquility of the High Atlas. This was my first visit to North Africa and I loved the clear blue skies, winter sun and fresh mountain air, It was a real contrast to the vibrant city of Marrakech - both the old town and the Ville Nouveau. The trip went well with a combination of group activities and time to explore the city, The hiking in the mountains was really enjoyable - with two easier days and one challenging long day.

I cannot sing enough praise for Khalid and his team. From the first point of contact to helping us manage a cancelled flight on our last day, hakim and our point of contact in Morocco - the amazing Ismail, made our trip absolutely flawless. My partner and I travelled alone and felt taken care of every step of the way. Ismail, our driver and guide, made the trip for us, offering advice, stories and rich history. We were provided with an amazing personal guide in each city and always felt supported and secure. The hotels and riad's Hassan picked for us to stay in were luxurious hidden gems. Thank you Khalid and Ismail for the most amazing trip. Truly a memory we will never forget!

Is pick up from the Casablanca Airport an option on Day 1? Instead of the Marrakesh airport?

    • Morocco Top TravelOperatorWritten April 2025

For this tour, transportation from Casablanca is not available. You can take the train from Casablanca airport, or we can organize transportation for you for $120 USD per person.

Solo travel - reconfirm that all accommodations will have a private room and private bathroom? In Merzouga, is the campsite secluded away from all the other company campsites? Could you share the websites for the campsite options? In Merzouga, are the tents luxury or standard? In Merzouga, what activities are included (e.g. sunrise sand dune tour, sand boarding etc.)? How much to budget for entrance tickets - which places covered in the tour need entrance fees? How much "Self time" is available in each destination if any? What optional activities are available at each destination with cost? Seems we do not get to spend a lot of time in Marrakech. What places would we visit in Marrakech on Day 2 (if any) and on Day 10?

How is the weather / temperature in early May for this tour?

    • Morocco Top TravelOperatorWritten February 2025

In early May, weather is generally warm and pleasant across Morocco. In the desert (Merzouga), temperatures can be quite hot during the day, around 30-35°C (86-95°F), but cooler at night, dropping to 15-20°C (59-68°F). In cities like Marrakech and Fes, expect temperatures between 25-32°C (77-90°F). It's a great time to travel with mostly dry conditions.
