Itinerary
- Day 1AdelaideYou'll arrive in Adelaide and head to your 4-star hotel to drop off your bags. From there, the rest of the day is yours to explore at whatever pace works for you. The Art Gallery of South Australia and South Australian Museum are both nearby if you want to check out some local culture, or you can just wander around the city and get a feel for the place. - Day 2Adelaide (Barossa Valley Day Tour)This is a full-day wine tour running from 9:15 am until 5:15 pm, so plan for a long but enjoyable day. You'll start at Pindarie Wines for tastings, then move through Penfolds to see their vineyards. Later you'll stop at Maggie Beer's Farm Shop for gin tasting, and by early afternoon you're sitting down to a two-course lunch with wine pairings at Fino at Seppeltsfield. After lunch, there's a tour of the Centennial Cellar where you can taste a vintage wine from your birth year, and you'll visit the Barossa Valley Chocolate Company. Before heading back to your hotel, you'll stop at Mengler Hill to take in the valley views. - Meals

- Day 3Adelaide (City Highlights)You've got a half-day morning tour from 9:15 am to 12:15 pm focused on Adelaide's main sights. You'll drive along the Cultural Boulevard on North Terrace, passing the University, Library, Art Gallery and Museum. After that, you'll explore the historic streets of North Adelaide and visit St Peters Cathedral. The tour also includes a stop at Adelaide Oval, and you'll see the National Wine Centre of Australia before wrapping up by mid-afternoon. Included Activities- Adelaide City sights tour

- Day 4Adelaide (Kangaroo Island)This is a long day starting at 6:45 am and finishing around 10:30 pm, so you'll be out for roughly 15 hours total. You'll travel to Cape Jervis and then cruise to Kangaroo Island. Once there, you'll walk with seals at Seal Bay and explore Flinders Chase National Park where you can spot koalas, echidnas, goannas and kangaroos. The Remarkable Rocks rock formations are a key stop, and you'll also see New Zealand Fur Seals and seabirds at Admirals Arch. Note that the itinerary might switch to Seal Bay Discovery depending on availability. - Meals

- Day 5Adelaide to The GhanYou'll head to Adelaide train station and board The Ghan for your journey north to the Top End. After settling into your cabin, you can relax and watch the landscape gradually shift from the city through the Flinders Ranges and beyond as the train travels northward. - Meals

- Day 6Alice SpringsThe Ghan arrives at Alice Springs and you'll disembark to meet your small group tour with Outback Spirit. After checking in to your 4-star accommodation, which will be either Crowne Plaza Alice Springs Lasseters or Doubletree by Hilton Alice Springs, you'll have the day to settle in and adjust to the outback pace. 
- Day 7Alice Springs to Uluru (Ayers Rock)You'll travel through the West MacDonnell Ranges with a stop to view Atila (Mt. Conner) before reaching Ayers Rock Resort. Later in the afternoon, there's a leisurely drive out to Kata Tjuta where you'll watch the sun set over the outback while sipping sparkling wine. You'll spend the night at either Desert Gardens Hotel or Sails in the Desert Hotel. Included Activities- Travel through West MacDonnell Ranges

- Day 8Uluru & Kata TjutaStart early to watch the sunrise at Uluru, then head to Kata Tjuta to walk through Walpa Gorge. After that you'll visit the Uluru-Kata Tjuta Cultural Center and tour sacred sites around Uluru's base. You'll continue to the sacred Mutitjulu Waterhole, and before dinner you'll see the striking color changes of Uluru at sunset. The day finishes with an exclusive barbecue dinner at a special venue with a good selection of food and drinks. - Meals

- Day 9Kings CanyonYou'll travel through desert plains toward Kings Canyon, starting with a cooked breakfast at Kings Creek Station. Then there's a guided 6 km walk along the canyon's rim where you'll learn about its history, geology, and local flora and fauna. You'll visit the Garden of Eden for views across Watarrka National Park (swimming isn't permitted there). If you want, there's an optional Creek Bed Walk for cliff views or a scenic helicopter flight, but those are at your own expense. Lunch and swimming at Kings Canyon Resort are also available separately. - Meals

- Day 10Alice SpringsYou'll make your way back to Alice Springs and check into your 4-star accommodation, either Crowne Plaza Alice Springs Lasseters or Doubletree by Hilton Alice Springs. This gives you the evening to rest after several days exploring the red center. 
- Day 11Alice Springs (Sunset Tour)This half-day sunset tour takes you around Alice Springs town and through the East MacDonnell Ranges countryside, giving you a solid overview of Alice Springs and the surrounding landscape before your departure. Included Activities- Alice town and country exploration
