- Day 1
Anchorage
You'll arrive in Anchorage and get settled in at your accommodation. This evening, your Travel Director hosts a welcome dinner where you'll meet fellow travelers and try some local Alaskan dishes paired with wine.

- Day 2
Talkeetna
Start the morning with a city tour through Anchorage's historic downtown, then head to the Alaska Native Heritage Center for a hands-on Agutak making demonstration. After lunch, drive through Matanuska Valley to visit a local farm and see how the region's unique climate produces those famous giant vegetables and flowers. Later, you'll travel to Talkeetna, a small community where the rest of the evening is free for you to explore on your own.

Talkeetna
Choose your morning activity: either take a jet boat up the Chulitna River to see a trapper's cabin, or go on a scenic float trip down the Talkeetna River with chances to spot wildlife and views of Mount Denali. After that, the rest of the day is yours to spend however you'd like around Talkeetna.

Talkeetna to Denali National Park
After a relaxed morning, you'll board the Alaska Railroad for the journey to Denali National Park. The train features glass-domed cars so you can take in views of streams and landscape from your seat. Once you arrive and settle into your lodge, a local climber joins you to share stories about tackling Mount Denali. For dinner, you can choose between dining at a local brewery or the lodge's rustic restaurant, both with wine service.

Denali National Park
Spend the day on a tundra wilderness tour with good opportunities to see park wildlife like moose, bears, and other animals. The afternoon opens up for you to explore at your own pace, whether that means relaxed walks through meadows or more challenging hikes. Back at the lodge by evening, you'll have time to enjoy the views and the night sky.

- Day 6
Denali National Park to Girdwood
You'll drive along the George Parks Highway and stop at Happy Trails Kennels where Martin Buser, a four-time Iditarod winner, lets you meet between 30 to 60 sled dogs and shares stories about the 1,049-mile race. Then head south on the scenic Seward Highway along Turnagain Arm where the views of mountains and water are dramatic. You'll arrive in Girdwood where your Travel Director hosts a dinner with wine at Alyeska Resort.

- Day 7
Girdwood to Whittier
Start your day enjoying Alyeska Resort's facilities and surroundings. Then travel to Whittier to board a 26 glacier cruise through Prince William Sound, a 100-mile boat tour that takes you into College Fjord with close-up views of glaciers. You'll have a chance to visit the captain's wheelhouse to learn how he navigates through icy waters. Lunch is served on board with incredible views. If you're departing today, you'll head back to Anchorage afterward.
