Itinerary
- Day 1
Baltra to Santa Cruz
Your guide meets you at Baltra Airport and takes you across the Itabaca Channel to Santa Cruz Island. From there, you head into the highlands where you'll see giant tortoises in their natural habitat, along with Galápagos finches and Scalesia forests. The afternoon leaves time to wander around Puerto Ayora on your own and check out the local shops.

Bartolome Island
A boat takes you to Bartoleme, one of the Galápagos' youngest islets with volcanic formations. You'll climb the cone for views across the islands and visit the iconic Pinnacle Rock. After that, swimming and snorkeling brings you face to face with Galápagos penguins, marine turtles, white-tipped reef sharks, and colorful tropical fish in the clear water.

North Seymour or South Plaza Island
You have two options today. North Seymour offers a 2 km trail through low vegetation where blue-footed boobies perform their courtship dance, plus swallow-tailed gulls and frigatebirds. South Plaza Island, on the other hand, features dramatic cliffs, bright vegetation, and one of the largest colonies of Galápagos land iguanas with seasonal color changes. Either way, you're back at your hotel by evening.

Landmarks/POIs Puerto Ayora - Day 5
Santa Cruz to Isabela Island
Following breakfast, you catch an early morning public speedboat to Isabela Island. At Tintoreras Islet, you see white-tipped reef sharks, marine iguanas, sea turtles, and sea lions. Next, the Giant Tortoise Breeding Center has you walking through manzanillo forest and wetlands to see hatchlings, giant tortoises, and pink flamingos. Then you transfer to your Isabela hotel.

Your guide picks you up for Sierra Negra Volcano, one of the Galápagos' most active. After a 40-minute drive from Puerto Villamil, you hike 45 minutes to the caldera's rim for dramatic volcanic views. By afternoon, you head to Concha Perla Bay where swimming and snorkeling lets you encounter tropical fish, marine iguanas, sea lions, sea turtles, and penguins in crystal-clear water ringed by mangroves.

Los Túneles and Snorkeling
Today brings you to Los Túneles, considered Isabela's best snorkeling spot. A 45-minute boat ride from Puerto Villamil gets you to lava formations and natural arches at Roca Unión. Snorkeling here lets you see white-tipped reef sharks, manta rays, penguins, sea turtles, seahorses, lobsters, sea snakes, and tropical fish in one of the richest marine areas in the Galápagos.
