- Day 1
Zanzibar to Arusha
You'll arrive in Arusha from Zanzibar where someone from the lodge meets you for a private transfer. After checking in and getting settled, your safari guide sits down with you to go over what's coming next. Just remember that getting to Arusha is on you, including all your hotel bookings and transport arrangements beforehand.

Landmarks Arusha - Day 2
Arusha to South Serengeti (Ndutu Area)
The hotel sends a car early morning to pick you up in Arusha, then you drive for 5.5 hours through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area heading toward Ndutu. The whole landscape changes as you go, shifting from forested hills into open grasslands. Once you arrive, you head out for a half-day game drive with a picnic lunch packed in. You'll see wildebeests by the millions along with zebras and antelopes everywhere. If you're visiting between December and April, you'll spot newborn calves and predators actively hunting. Back at your lodge by 5 PM for dinner.

Landmarks Ngorongoro Conservation Area Ndutu Serengeti National Park - Day 3
Ndutu Area Full Game Drive
After breakfast you spend the whole day doing game drives in Ndutu watching the Great Migration. Depending on when you visit, the plains could be calving grounds where newborn wildebeest are vulnerable to predators hunting them. You get a picnic lunch out in the field, then return to the lodge for dinner and a good night's rest.

Landmarks Serengeti National Park Ndutu - Day 4
South Serengeti (Ndutu) to Central Serengeti
Today you travel from Ndutu across the wide open plains toward Central Serengeti. The grasslands here cover a huge area and hold the Big Five along with impalas and tons of other wildlife. You'll check out the Serengeti Kopjes, which are granite rock formations where different animals take shelter. A picnic lunch happens in the middle of the park, and then you head back to your lodge for dinner.

Central Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area
You have a short game drive after breakfast in Central Serengeti, then travel for a half-day heading toward the Ngorongoro Crater rim. The 75 km trip takes roughly 2.5 hours and you'll spot wildlife along the way. The crater itself is one of Africa's most remarkable geological formations and a top wildlife spot. You arrive at your lodge by evening for dinner.

Landmarks Ngorongoro Crater Ngorongoro Conservation Area - Day 6
Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha
Start with breakfast, then you descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, which is the world's largest intact volcanic caldera. You spend 5 hours doing a game drive to spot elephants, buffaloes, black rhinos, hippos, hyenas, cheetahs, and lions. Picnic lunch happens at the scenic Hippo Pool, then you climb back up to the crater rim. The drive back to Arusha takes around 4 hours, getting you there by roughly 6 PM where your safari comes to an end.
