- Day 1
Riyadh
You'll arrive in Riyadh and settle into your 4-star hotel by 14:00, then sit in on a quick pre-departure meeting. The afternoon takes you to two key historical spots: the National Museum and Murabba Palace. Later, head up to the 99th floor of Kingdom Tower and walk across the Sky Bridge for views of the whole city spread out below you. Dinner wraps up the evening at a traditional Saudi restaurant in Najdi Village, where you'll meet the group.

After breakfast, you'll check out Masmak Fortress, a mudbrick museum that holds real significance in Saudi history. Then it's on to Diriyah, where the At-Turaif open-air museum shows off traditional Najdi architecture and makes for a UNESCO heritage site. By afternoon, you're in 4x4 vehicles heading to The Edge of the World, a dramatic drop with sweeping views that look even better as the sun sets. You'll return to your Riyadh hotel with the evening free to unwind.

Riyadh to Buraidah
After breakfast, you'll travel to Ushaiger, a living museum where hundreds of yellow mud houses line winding alleyways, showing off traditional Najdi architecture at every corner. The afternoon continues on to Buraidah, which is known for its date farms and camel market. You'll check into your 4-star hotel in Buraidah, leaving the evening free to relax or wander around town if you feel up to it.

Buraidah to Hail
Rise early to see the world's largest camel market just outside Buraidah, where thousands of camels, goats, and sheep trade hands each morning in a lively, energetic setting. Then you'll drive to Hail, catching sunset from Hail Hilltop where you can see the city below plus the mud fort of Aarif and Qishla mud palace. After checking into your 3-star hotel in Hail, the evening is yours to rest or explore the area.

Hail to AlUla
You'll visit the ancient rock art at Jubbah, where petroglyphs carved into stone show humans, lions, ibex, horses, camels, and ostrich left behind by Arab ancestors on what used to be an oasis. Moving on, you'll reach the AlUla oasis for the next two days to explore its natural beauty and history. After settling into your local guesthouse, you have the option to wander the old town at night and grab dinner at a restaurant nearby.

AlUla
You'll see Hegra (Madain Saleh), a UNESCO site with well-preserved tombs carved into sandstone rocks by the Nabataean civilization around two thousand years ago. Keep in mind that timing can shift based on how many tourists are visiting each location. The evening brings you back to your guesthouse in AlUla with a chance to relax or explore more if you'd like.

AlUla
The day starts at the Lion Tombs of Dedan, where ancient kings were buried and some tombs still show lions carved at their entrances, predating Hegra. You'll also catch sunset at Elephant Rock, a massive natural formation that's iconic to the area. Back at your AlUla guesthouse, the evening is free to relax or look around more of the area on your own.

AlUla to Medina
You'll drive through Lawrence of Arabia country, passing through sites tied to WWI where Arab tribes worked against the Hejaz Railway that once ran from Damascus to Medina. There are stops to see old train carriages and an abandoned station, remnants from that era. In the afternoon, you'll arrive in Medina and check into your comfortable 3-star hotel.

Medina
You have the day free to explore Medina using the hop-on hop-off open-top bus service. The city centre and Prophet's Mosque are officially closed to non-Muslim tourists, though policies are shifting and some non-Muslims are getting access to these sites. Make the most of your time checking out historic spots independently. Return to your 3-star hotel for the night.

Medina to Jeddah
You'll drive to Jeddah, an ancient port city that blends old traditions with modern energy. After checking in at your hotel, head to the corniche if you'd like, a waterfront walkway along the Red Sea with views of the Al Rahma floating Mosque and King Fahd's fountain, which towers at 312 metres high. The evening is yours to explore Jeddah at your own pace.

Jeddah
You'll spend time in Al Balad, the UNESCO-listed historic centre of Jeddah, where narrow alleyways lead to souqs with spice scents, art galleries, quirky cafes, and traditional bakeries. Restored coral merchants' houses and mosques, like Naseef House and Al Shafee Mosque, show what living museums look like. The afternoon takes you to Tayebat City Museum to learn Jeddah's 2,500-year story through over 60,000 items including coins, manuscripts, weaponry, and fine art. A traditional Arabic farewell dinner wraps up the evening.
