Itinerary
- Day 1
Zanzibar to Mikumi National Park
Hotel pickup in Zanzibar gets your safari started, then you'll fly to Mikumi National Park where your driver-guide meets you. The full day on the plains has you looking for elephants, giraffes, lions, buffalo, zebras, and wildebeest across the open landscape. After a picnic breakfast in the park and lunch during the drive, you'll head to Camp Bastian Lodge for dinner and settle in for the night.

Mikumi to Nyerere National Park
Following breakfast, you'll leave Mikumi and drive toward Nyerere National Park. The route takes you through different Tanzanian landscapes where wildlife shows up along the way. By afternoon you'll reach the lodge, giving you time to rest before dinner and your overnight stay.

Landmarks/POIs Nyerere National Park - Day 3
Nyerere National Park
Before sunrise, an expert guide leads you on a bush walk where you'll learn to read animal tracks, identify plants, and understand survival in the park. After breakfast back at the lodge, you'll visit a Maasai village to spend time with the community and learn their traditions. Post-lunch, a boat safari on the Rufiji River puts you close to hippos, crocodiles, and birds as light fades, then dinner awaits at the lodge.

Nyerere National Park to Zanzibar
An early start gets you out for the full-day game drive across Nyerere's terrain where you'll search for elephants, wild dogs, giraffes, lions, and antelope. Breakfast and lunch happen in the park between drives. In the afternoon you'll transfer to the airstrip, fly back to Zanzibar, and get dropped at your hotel where the safari ends.
